I will end up purchasing another Ropeman 1, for other rope climbing purposes. Easy to use, safe and well worth the money!

Works as designed

Although the product itself is great, the shipping was annoying since I pay for prime yet it arrived 2 days late and I really needed it when it said it would originally arrive.

Purchased this Apeman for the sole purpose of making a climbing belt for hang/hunt setup. Way easier to operate than the Prussic knot and works as described. This assender is the real deal!!

Not sure why it took me so long to get on board. This little guy is so simple it makes scaling a tree safe and simple and allows the use of both hands wile hanging a tree stand. Never climb another tree unsafe!

Very creaky. Used in saddle hunting setup.

Ease of use, able to ascend or descend with one hand unlike a prusik knot. It is used for arborist climbing and as a tether for saddle hunting.

This ascender is light weights and east to use. Before ordering though make sure the rope you are going to use falls within the ropeman 1s specs.
