Wild Country Ropeman 1 Ascender

Read a lot of reviews of the Ropman 1 (not 2) that said this is a great upgrade to Prusik knot for a linemans belt and tree tether. It really is a cool and useful upgrade. Very well made. Just make sure youre using it the right way with the teeth on the direction/side away from you.

Just got this little tool and its mind blowing how efficient its. You can climb a tree with ease using only one hand to loose or tight the tether rope. I still have a prusik knot connected to my harness in case any mechanical issue happen. I will order another one soon to have a backup.

Great size. I like the teeth on the #1. Easier if you need to go back and forth.

Bought this for my saddle hunting set up. Love them easy to make one hand adjustment while hunting have a second one on my lineman belt performance is awsome

I like it. I don’t know if I trust it to catch me from a fall like a rope prussic but it drags up the rope easily and catches pretty well when rope is dry. New set rope it has seriousl trouble grabbing. Light and easy design

Must have for saddle hunting. Do leave home with out it.

First time using one...still getting the feel for it.but so far works good

These(I got two) are ez to use and work flawlessly. However I did make a mistake and bought 8 mm line/rope and it was too small. Got 11mm rope and it’s a perfect fit…….get the right size rope and your gonna love it!
