XJ-HOME 18.4 Extra Large Travel Laptop Backpack is really awesome and well made..the material is quality and water resistant..I was surprised on the amount of items it could hold..it took two laptops, a tablet and their chargers.. including some little other items..I am really impressed by it and would recommend it..it reduced the amount of bags I usually carry to travel..

I like this product. However, I didnt find anything exceptional about it. It is a good backpack for the kids to take to school, etc., but I would not entrust this for my work laptop and items. The exterior is a nice canvas material, but the inside is very plasticky feeling, like a very thin tent nylon. I did not test the waterproof claims, because I dont want to ruin it or anything inside of it. The USB Port in the back is simply a cord that is affixed to to a plastic accessory port on the side. (see photos). So, I do like this as a light travelling pack or maybe a backpack for the kids to take to school, and I would recommend it if that is your expectation.

I have to admit, I was impressed with this backpack right from the unpacking. It has three large packing areas. In the front, a nice space for your smaller items like pens, cards, and any other office supplies you may want. The card slots even have rfid protection. There is still room there for my kindle in its case or a book or two besides. The middle pouch is large enough for school books, a binder or other items. There is a pocket for a portable battery to charge items and the backpack has a built in usb cord leading to an exterior port to plug in whatever you want. The third pocket is well padded for a laptop or good sized tablet. The padded shoulder straps are comfortable and easily adjusted. There are two good sized water bottle holders and an extra clip on the front too. Altogether a nice roomy and sturdy bag that doesn’t look like your dad’s tactical gear.

Seems like a well made backpack with plenty of space. Lots of nice little features. The reflective bit is rather small though it is as pictured I wish it was bigger or that the backpack had more of them. It is wearable but not particularly comfortable my broad chested 6 1 265Ibs husband. So I wish the straps could be extended more. However it is a good backpack especially since its only listed at about $26. Id recommend it unless you do a lot of night walking or bike riding or have a broad chest and/or are heavier than average.

I guess I should have measured it out... this bag is BIG. Its a TRAVEL bag... larger than any school backpack Ive ever had. Definitely larger than any laptop bag Ive had. Its a travel size jumbo backpack with a laptop compartment and some good features. Its held up well to motorcycle commuting, though I retired it for a smaller bag. For me, it packs more than enough for my trips. At full, its the exact size to fit under a big jets seat. However, at full stuff, if lifted by the thin strap rather than the padded handle one... the seams start to rip. I didnt wedge things in, stuff it full, or squeeze to close the zipper... and it was just clothes, dopp kit, etc... so nothing extra heavy.

There material and construction is well done. The stitching over most of the stitch lines is single stitching but at stress points there is double or more stitch layers to better secure those areas. The USB and Headset pass through areas have an additional structural support piece stitched in to keep the pass through cords from starting a fabric rip. The exterior material is a tight weave with a slick nylon feel. This should provide decent water resistance, though not a waterproof item by any means. This isnt meant to be a dry bag. The outermost pocket has several internal sorting pockets for pens, battery packs, cell phones, and a rack for several credit size cards in an RFID protecting fabric. In the top right part of this pocket is a quick connect with ring for keys or fobs to keep them easy to find and access. The external USB and Headset pass throughs lead to this pocket. The next pocket is a large pocket with an small side pocket on the bottom part of the side, probably for a battery pack. This pocket has a hardwired USB cord inside leading to a USB-A connector on the outside of the pack. The external port mount has a durable material around the port which is double stitched into the fabric for stability. The next large pocket is divided with a cell with light padding which would work well for holding a laptop or tablet. This padded pocket is on the exterior wall directly contacting the wearer without any rigid support piece to keep the wearer body position from directly torquing the laptop or tablet. It is probably the best place for protecting the laptop from external damage as well as from other objects within the pack. For casual protection this will likely work fine. If you are concerned for damage to the laptop/tablet, then a proper laptop case might be a better option. Depending on the size of the laptop, a rigid protective sleeve over the laptop before inserting into the padded pocket might give you more confidence. For a backpack model including a laptop pocket, this pack is among the better versions. A piece I dont understand is the product page points out a reflective in the dark tab. This tab only exists on the right shoulder strap. If visibility is a marketing point these reflective tabs should be on all sides. If you commonly walk at night, reflective surfaces are probably a really good idea. This tab thing isnt a point to deduct from rating, just a curiosity raised in their marketing. The external hydration pockets are nice as well. If you are using short bottles, like .5 liter or pints they will be fine. If you are using a larger bottle then having a securing strap above the pocket would be helpful. Overall, a nicely constructed pack with many well thought through options.

I got this backpack when I was dissatisfied with my previous one, and what an upgrade! It is perfectly organized for all my essentials and electronics, and I like the strap that allows me to place it on my carry-on. There is enough storage here for a variety of trips, and the USB port makes charging super accessible. Very affordable for the cost.

This works well, it holds a full laptop and extra items. I was able to store my laptop a couple changes of clothing it was a tight fit but worked. So as an over night bag it will work.

I got this for my husband who is a corporate executive chef. He needs to carry a laptop etc from work to come constantly and this is an awesome bag for just that. The usb cable is a great addition as well as the room for everything he has.
