> 3 dayIf your receiver sits in an enclosed cabinet with limited circulation, this fan will keep it cool whenever heat begins to build up. My cabinet’s vent is behind the receiver so I bought the S8 for rear discharge of heat. Be sure to know where your cabinet or enclosure vent is located so you can select the correct model. This thing comes on automatically when certain temperature is reached and has an indicator showing how much speed the fan is turning while extracting heat.

> 3 dayThis is exactly what I needed to cool the new Denon AVR. The highest 2 settings, you can hear the fans from about 8 feet away when the movie sound drops down. I like to set it on Auto with fan speeds at half and the AVR never feels hot. Glad I made this purchase.

> 3 dayThe Aircom S8 sits atop my Ayre VX-5 Twenty amp and vents to the rear of the rack. Even with this fairly hot running amp it stays in the bottom half of its fan speed and remains inaudible.

> 3 dayI have an entertainment center unit with glass doors that I prefer to keep closed, but my 100 watt / channel receiver puts out too much heat without ventilation. I bought this AC Infinity S8 and that did the trick very nicely. I particularly like the smart mode that adjust the fan speed as needed, and it’s a perfect companion to my upstairs entertainment receiver.

> 3 dayUsing this with a Denon AVR-3600H that had been overheating due to me putting a speaker selector switch on top of it, but with this in between it is able to properly cool my receiver perfectly. At max fan speed its a bit loud, but most of the time it runs at 1/4 the speed which is almost inaudible during music and movies.
