Quality product, but a bit on the expensive side. I would buy the product again. It fits my AV receiver form factor quite well.

I have a Denon 3700H avr and it ran hot as a pancake until I bought this cooler. All my electronics run in an unenclosed rack and this unit sits atop the Denon and exhausts out the back. Had I not found this cooler I was prepared to return the Denon - despite my really liking it. Apparently, from what Ive read about these Denon avrs, running hot is an issue with them. I play movies loud and this cooler works perfectly. Highly recommended.

Little noisier than I hoped but does the job

I like everything about this cooling fan. Adjustable fan speed, the auto on-off feature, and even the fact that you can turn off the fan indicator light. Great value, would definitely recommend.

Made an immediate noticeable difference. Reduced the HDMI handshake issues I had drastically. I have a new Marantz 2012 Receiver - it gets HOT. I had tried a few things - fancy HDMI Cables. Better Connectors - various things - this made the most significant difference ( for the better ) by far. It does make some noise - mostly unnoticeable while watching something or playing a game etc unless youre at very low volumes. ALSO - if you have a newer Marantz - the shape / curved front is almost exactly the same - looks really nice.

Bought this for my new Marantz AVR. Overall, its a great product. However, I realised S8 is not quite suited for the tropics. The ambient temperature in my cabinet is about 29degC. As such, the unit never turns off as it cannot reach the lower cut-off temperture. As such a T8 with adjustable temperatures may be more suitable for me. I opted to keep the unit and turn off the unit using the trigger signal fr my AVR.

Hi music heads , I got this S8 to cool my new Marantz p m 5005. It runs quiet. Just got it 2 days ago so still messing with it. I put it on half speed -auto. It comes on, cools the amp down, it goes off.

This is a must for those with good audio equipment. This fan will keep your system cool from ever overheating and wearing out parts of your machine circuitry. This small investment will save you lots of cash in the long term. Wish I had bought one long time ago!

This level of cooling should be built into amplifiers - but only hi-end gear get that.
