Greater than one weekI know the spec says 24 dB but this S8 is way noisier than the S6 I already own. I was adding the S8 to a new component. It makes so much noise I can hear is when either music or TV sound is playing. I returned it.

> 3 dayWorks just as advertised. My multi channel amplifiers get extremely hot and I needed a cooling option. After installing 2 Ac Infinity S8 cooling fans, my amps are cool to the touch. Instead of relying on the auto on feature based on temperature, my fans are triggered as soon as my amps are turned on. This is possible because my power conditioner has triggered outlets and works flawlessly. They run continuously as long as my amps are on and on the lowest setting is barely audible from 5 ft away. Great product and cost effective way to protect your equipment.

> 3 dayAfter updating my receiver, which tends to run hot, I had considered laying a muffin fan on top to help keep it cool. My concern was that I would be recirculating hot air in the cabinet instead of exhausting it. The Aircom S8 is perfect. It exhausts out a rectangular opening at the back of my cabinet and the receiver is running much cooler. While the fans are a little noisy at full speed on manual settings, Ive never had them run faster than half on Auto which is barely audible. The unit is solid, well made and highly recommended.

> 3 dayOur Denon 4500H is great but, like many new components, it runs fairly hot. Combine that with a home entertainment cabinet with glass front doors and open back and the Denon seemed to be heating up. The Aircom S8, with back exhaust, works perfectly. I set the unit to Smart Mode with the orange and white lights on and set the fan to medium and everything is cool and all the components are happier. The Aircom is good looking, very simple to operate, very quiet, and cools down the Denon and vents the heat out back. This product works as stated and is a reasonably priced, especially when you consider that it helps preserve the life of much more expensive components.
