> 3 dayWhat a great idea! An aftermarket fan designed specifically for home theater receivers and different cabinet configurations. It does its job really well, but I find anything above fan level 2 a bit too noisy for me (clearly audible during quiet passages). On the other hand, level 2 does a very fine job of keeping the receiver cool so I never need to use the higher fan levels.

> 3 dayOur Denon 4500H is great but, like many new components, it runs fairly hot. Combine that with a home entertainment cabinet with glass front doors and open back and the Denon seemed to be heating up. The Aircom S8, with back exhaust, works perfectly. I set the unit to Smart Mode with the orange and white lights on and set the fan to medium and everything is cool and all the components are happier. The Aircom is good looking, very simple to operate, very quiet, and cools down the Denon and vents the heat out back. This product works as stated and is a reasonably priced, especially when you consider that it helps preserve the life of much more expensive components.

Greater than one weekPurchased 2 units for both of our Denon receivers in our house. I like how these are essentially ‘set it and forget it’ and turn on automatically when the temps get too warm on top of the Denons. These turn on much more often than I anticipated, but assured me they are doing their intended job. At full blast, the fans are obviously audible but at 1/4 or 1/2 speed, you barely noticed them when watching the at normal volumes. The build quality is robust, and these feel like quality components. Also the shallow height allows them to sit on top of the receiver despite less than 2” of clearance to the top. Overall I highly recommend Aircom S8 to keep you expensive AV gear cool.

> 3 dayHi music heads , I got this S8 to cool my new Marantz p m 5005. It runs quiet. Just got it 2 days ago so still messing with it. I put it on half speed -auto. It comes on, cools the amp down, it goes off.

> 3 dayBought this for my Onkyo reciever after noticing it getting very hot. I had read the reviews about noise level being excessive, on high that is true. I run it in auti and using my reciever for 7.1 surround at a comfortable volume level the fans have only run at low speeds and there is no noticeable sound coming from the unit. Very happy with coming effectiveness and price of this unit.

> 3 dayBought this for my A/V receiver. I have a glass enclosed component cabinet that was always too hot and I was tired of leaving the doors open all the time. This unit sits right on top of the receiver, over the vents, and can be set to be on all the time or go on at two preset temp limits. The unit looks nice - anodized black and fits well with my other home theater components. Its quiet and the airflow is really good with all three fans going. A little pricey for essentially 3 muffin fans but it does the job well

16-12-2024The Aircom S8 is very quiet, I never run my receiver at high volumes so the S8 fans never run the fastest anyway.

22-12-2024This is a very good product. Im using this with a Denon AVR-X4700H that runs hot. I chose this over the more expensive T8 because, IMHO, the T8 just offers too many customization options. The S8 is the same size and pushes the same amount of air. The S8 does its job, and is virtually silent, unless running at its top (fourth) speed. Then there is a noticeable whine. Its not intrusive, but its there. If it were not for that whine I would have given it five stars.
