First gaming laptop I have ever owned and the difference is extremely obvious. The helios 300 feels extremely premium and sturdy with the metal chassis and lid, combined with a very colorful and vibrant screen and enjoyable typing experience. I havent done any gaming with it as yet but so far it runs very quiet during regular use. After searching up gaming laptops for months I settled on the helios 300 as nothing else offers this much performance and quality of a build at this price point. Ill update this review in the future if I have any issues but so far I am super happy with my purchase.

This is probably the best laptop I have ever owned! Well designed, made out of quality durable materials, good video graphics card at 144MHz, onboard 512GB NVME SSD it would have been better with 1 TB but for what this machine actually cost me, I will not complain. I can add an additional HD for storage of edited material later. This is probably the BEST cooled laptop in present production. Even running in TURBO it will go to maybe 193 degrees F and fluctuate more on the down side. If you use it in your lap it will not heat up and will not burn your parts and yes, the fan is a bit loud. The multicolored key board is super cool.

I specifically purchased this laptop for a HTC Cosmos Elite VR system. It did not disapoint. The compatibility and power this laptop has is comparable to weaker laptops that cost #300-$400 more because of the logo on the box. I am almost certain this will do everything those other laptops can do, and then some. The fact that the RAM and Memory is exapandable or upgradable is a hug plus. 16GB RAM (2x8GB) installed can be swapped out for up to 32GB (2x16). It only has 512GB SSD out the box, but there is an open slot to add more. Ive read it can go up to 1TB SSD plus the open HDD bay is limitless if you need lots of memory.

Overall a pretty awesome laptop! Boots up quickly and runs everything smoothly, everything is almost perfect. I say almost because there are some stuff that can be improved on. Battery life only last around 4 hour with idle use which is on the lower end. With how big games are these days, the stock storage fills up very fast, but you can put in a extra hard drive so it’s not that bad. The fans also can get pretty loud, but it’s not as bad as I initially thought it would be. The only problem I pretty much have with this laptop is that there are no dedicated sound keys. You need to hold the fn key and arrow which requires both hands, may not seem much but it can get annoying. Overall, the rest are great for a laptop and highly recommend for the price

Meets all expectations! Very good graphics. Stays cool and has been a great computer for my 16 year old for school and games.

Easy upgrade of memory was supposed to be a thing but trust me is like fort knox to get into so my 2gb nvme still sitting there.

El equipo llegó sin funcionar la cámara y el micrófono, el servicio de soporte de Acer lo solucionó. No lo devolví debido a que es un excelente equipo, la garantía Acer fue super ágil. Estoy muy contento hasta este momento, el equipo corre super bien y corre juegos como FS 2020 de manera fluida, aunque se deben configurar muy bien las definiciones del procesamiento gráfico.
