I have been looking for a gaming laptop for a long time because I like to game on the go. To be completely honest I am a desktop gaming guy. Unfortunately, it is a pain to take it everyone and very impractical.

This is a great laptop for gaming, handles just about all the big name games out there with setting on ultra/high.

Pretty happy with the Acer Predator Triton 500, but really hate the keyboard light show at startup. Really annoying in a dark room. Seems to be no way to turn it off. Not in BIOS or anywhere else. Once logged in, it will use your settings, but not before.

This laptop has exceeded my initial expectations. Able to push 80+ FPS while keeping my GFX settings set high on all games Ive tried thus far (Borderlands 3, Doom Eternal, and FF14).

Decent product. Wife uses it for gaming and making videos........Not those kind of videos.

Acer went all out on the Predator. Nice surprise to see that they used DDR4-3200 (albeit not the lowest latency DIMMs) and a nice fast m.2 NVME drive. High performance CPU and GPU that fit in a nice thin laptop was a nice surprise considering heat dissipation that is required.

It has an on-boot feature where it plays this loud sound and does some silly RGB keyboard animation. The sound can be disabled through BIOS and/or the PredatorSense app. The RGB keyboard animation CANNOT. This animation occurs on-boot and whenever the laptop wakes up. This basically ruins the laptop for me.

Im big into computers and was excited to set this one up. After one month of use the computer crashes instantly. Battery overheats, wont charge, wont boot, COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.
