Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Really nice, with the inside holder and place for cord nice.

I put my Toshiba Canvio, the Canvio power cord, 4 flash drives, two lanyards ( 1 long & 1 short) and several file cards in this handy - dandy case. Exactly what I wanted and needed.

There is no padding inside this case to protect your hard drive if it is dropped. Padding is essential, Amazon. If you drop this case with a drive inside, your data is toast. What good is a case which has no padding inside? Come on, drives are expensive and data is irreplaceable. Spend a few bucks more for a Drive Logic case with memory foam inside. Being a cheapskate can be very expensive when it comes to your data. Another problem: I bought this case because the stated dimensions should have been a perfect fit for a certain drive I own (not a My Passport I must admit). Turns out the dimensions must have external because the drive did not fit inside. I do NOT use this case for storing or transporting any of my precious external disk drives, BUT....

Bought this for my WD 2TB Berry My Passport Ultra Portable External Hard Drive and it fits it great.

I would feel comfortable dropping my hard drive from a reasonable distance with this case on it.

Works great for portable Hard Drives of all sizes. I am able to fit both my G-Drive and my Rugged G-Drive in this protective pouch. Their service is wonderful. I received my 2 protective cases the same day as I ordered them!
