Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

The hard cover is great. I first put my passport and USB connector in its soft cover which is provided;then, I put it inside the hard case. It protects it very well.

Holds either my WD Elements 1tb or My Passport 4tb comfortably, but not both at once (although it never claimed to). I was a bit worried about it handling the 4tb since it is considerably thicker, but it fits nicely. I like having that added protection for my drive with all my family photos backed up on it, and it keeps it from getting scratched up in a backpack.

When I resigned from my previous job, my then boss bought me a 1 TB external HDD with a silicon sleeve. The HDD with the sleeve and the cable and extra flash drives fit comfortably within this case. I love it

Purchased for use with a Seagate backup Plus slim 2tb external hard drive. The drive does fit, but there is about a 1/2 of extra room which allows the drive to slide around. Im not one for letting electronics slide around and get bumped back and fourth repeatedly, so I added a small piece of foam to the case which helps keep the hard drive from sliding around and getting bumped.

I broke a couple of back up drives. Im guessing they stopped reading because I dropped them. This is just a little extra insurance for my newest one.

This case is as good as the others I bought, just more basic. If I had multiples I wouldnt be able to identify what was in them at a glance. Would recommend

The case, although conveniently priced, looks very quality, strong, ideally sized and meticulously sawn. It embeds the HD that we have purcased. It is especially designed for Amazon.com and if something happens, we know that Amazon will take our criticisms seriously. I recommend the product to every buyer.
