Amazon Smart Plug, for home automation, Works with Alexa - A Certified for Humans Device

Basically it works like a dream. Its easy to use. The only thing that youre not going to get with this particular product is being able to use it with Google. If you want to use anything with Google you want to get get something that uses Google or can be synced with Google because you can sync Google with Alexa. Just not Alexa with Google so its a one-way street with that. Otherwise its great. Really good product. I use it and if you have any issues where its not really connecting or its not responding sometimes reassuring a voice command can be good to do. You need to also double check your Wi-Fi signal strength. A little bit of issue with that myself fixed it and it works real well.

Got this on some Amazon deal when I bought my very first product on here. It was $1 more for it so I said what the heck and did it. Works like you’d expect it to.

Initial installation was easy. Paired with Alexa quickly and was easy to turn on and off a light using Alexa voice commands or Alexa phone app. Adding a routine to turn on and off a light at a preset time was much more difficult. Plug came with no instructions. You must access online instruction on Amazons website. They were incomplete and confusing. I finally found a You Tube site that was step by illustrated step that helped me get the routine up and running. It now works perfectly but it was a long road.

Bought this to use with a Salt Lamp that is plugged in behind a dresser. It makes using the lamp so easy without having to try to get behind the large dresser. Love that it is connected to my Alexa speaker. I honestly need to get these for all around these house. I also love that I can control the outlet when I am not home through the Alexa App!

Had my bedroom lights plugged into this plug. My lights would go on and off in the middle of the night. It stopped when I unplugged it.

Works just like it should, maintains its connection, easily programmed, just wish it had a slightly less wide body

I received this smart plug in on a promotional period so I thought “what the heck, I’ll give it a whirl”. I love this thing! My basement only has light switches on one end so I have to walk all the way back over in the dark if I turn the lights off to leave. Now…I have a lamp attached to the smart outlet and Alexa turns the lights on and off for me so I don’t fall in the dark!! I definitely need a few more of these!!

Pairs and works great. I gave it 4 stars because it’s so big. Wish hey could make these a third of the size.
