AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Unfortunately, this CPU runs really hot. I wish I had done more research before, but many people were recommending this over the 12700, so I went ahead and purchased it.

It is so fast, all the time! It feels surreal having such an amazing piece of Silicon that runs so quick for the price. It seems to run at about 40-45c in idle states (this could change depending on Cooling). 60-68c during gaming which is pretty good for gaming.

A beast of a process, in gaming is a little to overkill the only downside is you need a really beafy cooler to cool it down

Cpu fails at anything above 3.7.

3700Xから5900Xへ換装

I have used a few AMD CPUs in the past and this one is no different and continues to fully meet my expectations and doesn’t disappoint. As expected, this CPU performed as advertised with no major issues present. Has excellent performance and I rarely if ever can reach 100% utilization and even still it runs very well. The only issue I had was within the week after installation that a few times a CPU temperature warning would randomly appear sometimes even when booting up, however after that first week I’ve never gotten another warning and I’ve used this CPU for a few weeks. Other then that it’s been an excellent experience, would definitely consider upgrading to a 6000 series CPU whenever it launches.

Received mine with broken and bent pins on the processor. Currently returning it and will update my review once I order the replacement.

A great cpu that works with my sorta outdated motherboard. No more loading times, pop in, or struggle in my games

There are quite a few reviews out there suggesting that past 1080p the upgrade isnt worth it. For more than a few games, this is true. Forza Horizon 5 went from a stuttering mess on max settings to a very smooth experience on a 6800xt. I cant speak to what this upgrade will do for a mid tier gpu. I game at 3440x1440p. This was an amazing leap in performance for me.

Beast of a cpu. Better have a good cooler to keep the temps down on this bad boy.
