> 24 hourBe careful, I had to return a version of this because I eagerly clicked to buy the little icon for Adorama - even though its posting on the 5950x, its selling the 3950x.

> 24 hourBeen using this for about a month. I enjoy gaming, photography, and videography. This has been a champ for all my wants and needs. Games are running buttery smooth at 1080p and editing/processing is a breeze. It chews through so much and has yet to complain at all. Will be testing at 4K when the new monitor arrives.

> 24 hourLet me start off by saying that AMD and Intel both have there ups and downs. You cant go wrong with either brand. But you WILL need to put in a tremendous amount of work if you want the most out of AMD!

> 24 hourI was weary of switching from Intel to AMD but the switch was seamless and did not even need to reinstall my OS

> 24 hourI bought this CPU in August 2021 to replace my 11 year old Intel 980X system. I have had other newer systems (though only 4~6 cores) since then. I tend to like to invest in a single main computer to get me quite a few years of solid performance so I can focus on other things other than constantly upgrading. My old system got me through 8 years still able to play the top of the line games with no real issues, but the last 2~3 I noticed the sluggishness kicking in. I was very happy with that life span and decided to focus on the same with this new build.
