Greater than one weekMy daughters hamster loves his new coconut hut. The only thing is, I don’t like is the base is connected with a thick layer of glue. The hamster hasn’t started to chew on it which is good. But if he does I’ll remove it.

> 3 dayI bought this for my Syrian hamster. When he was younger and smaller, I thought hed use it as a place to sleep, but he never did. Like most hamsters, he prefers to dig a hole and sleep under his bedding or in a more hidden area. Instead, I used this as a place to hide treats as a form of enrichment for him. Even though my hamster doesnt use this item for the purpose I intended, its solidly built and looks very nice in my hamsters enclosure. If I gave this to my mice, I think theyd be much more likely to use it as a place to sleep. Its a good size for one Syrian hamster and has enough room for at least two mice to cuddle.

> 3 dayWe had a plastic igloo for our gerbil and he started eating it. I thought that can’t be good for his health so ordered this. He loves it, he sleeps in it and he didn’t sleep in the igloo. It is lightweight but has a base stand so it’s stable. It has lasted longer than the igloo without being eaten apart.

Greater than one weekThis was a cute house for my hamster, but after about 2 weeks it became quite gross. The material is difficult to clean and it seemed as if some type of mold (or something) was growing on the inside due to the hamsters pee & droppings. Super difficult to fully clean so I tried soaking it in water and the base fell off from the coconut (it was just glued on). I was disappointed and ended up throwing this out.

> 3 dayCute, but came broken—the stand was hanging on by a thread of hot glue. I just nestled the coconut into the bedding as a little sand bath with the entrance on the top and it works fine!

> 3 dayMy hamster loves this coconut hut. Hes really done some decorating and made it his own. A few claw marks mixed with a few teeth mark trails, hes definitely left his mark on it.
