The base was broken when I opened the box and I was not able to properly use this product.

I love this so much! My hamster doesn’t go in it much because she loves her tubes, but she occasionally goes in it to “clean” herself. (When they lick their hands and wipe at their ears and fur.) I think it looks super cute and because it’s natural I’m not worried about it being chewed at at all which is great. It’s definitely thick so even if she was a chewer I wouldn’t expect this to break at all.

This coconut looks great and it feels like a real coconut and it’s hamster safe and it’s spacious. Unfortunately my hammie doesn’t care much for it and that’s why I gave it 4 stars. she only goes in there when I hide treats in there lol. But it looks nice in her aquarium and if you have a Syrian hamster it may be a little small but perfect for dwarfs and robo’s.

It’s way too small for a Syrian hamster . I wanted to give my hamster a new home but it seems like the picture fooled me.

Cute, but came broken—the stand was hanging on by a thread of hot glue. I just nestled the coconut into the bedding as a little sand bath with the entrance on the top and it works fine!
