andwe Coconut Hut Hamster House Bed for Gerbils Mice Small Animal Cage Habitat Decor

This was a cute house for my hamster, but after about 2 weeks it became quite gross. The material is difficult to clean and it seemed as if some type of mold (or something) was growing on the inside due to the hamsters pee & droppings. Super difficult to fully clean so I tried soaking it in water and the base fell off from the coconut (it was just glued on). I was disappointed and ended up throwing this out.

My mice love to dig out their snacks from this. I put some soil (a safe one for mice) and some snacks and they love to dig it out themselves. It looks cute too!

Its cute but not ideal for a 6 inch long Syrian hamster. My Syrian is on the larger side. But if you have a 4-5 inch hamster maybe this will be perfect for you. Or even better ...a dwarf hamster.

My Gerbils love it so far! A little pricey, but I just want them to be happy.

The coconut part is normal but the base that was used was just glued on. Not safe to be in any animals cage that may try to eat it.

This hideaway is the perfect size for my Syrian hamster. It was peeling slightly in the inner back of the hideaway, but since it is made of natural materials I don’t find this a huge issue. My one problem is that the base is hot glued to the hideaway. The natural materials of the hut is what drew me towards it in the first place, so that was a bit disappointing. That said, the shape of the hut makes it almost impossible for a hamster to gnaw at the hot glued part, and it feels extremely sturdy so I am not worried about it falling off or coming apart. All in all I am glad I bought this!

Its sturdy. Our hamster likes it and feels safe in it.

Great little nook for dwarf hamster. Fits perfectly in mid size habitat. Hamster took to bed very quickly, with a little bedding it’s his favorite spot.

I very much like this little coconut hide. Its made well. It looks awesome in my tank. Size is perfect for a Syrian hamster. I just wish my hamster liked it. She sleeps behind it rather than in it.
