> 3 dayI had originally bought one plug and liked it so much I bought 12 more. Two months in 3 stopped working so the company replaced them no problem. Now I have one not working at all and haven’t heard back from customer support. Another keeps having a weak Wi-Fi signal. So when they work , they work great, but it seems like not for long.

> 3 dayBought these to control our Christmas lights. Tree outlet is behind the tree and a pain to get to. This was an easy solution to that problem. Also used the timer feature to control the outside lights and upstairs window lights. These worked great. Used the app to set timers and control them. Integration was super simple. Working great.

> 3 dayIn terms of features these are great and setup was not difficult. My complaint is that I have had two (of 4) fail within four years. Perhaps Im asking too much but this was under light loads and I dont think the short lifespan is acceptable.

> 3 dayLove how it works. They could improve the on-off switch. When you plug it in, the power/Wi-Fi button is hard to get to. On the bottom, so when you’re close to the floor it’s hard to see what color it’s glowing. Also, written instructions are small, could be clearer, and were hidden on the side of the box. It took some doing but glad I bought them!

> 3 dayI love it - thats why I keep buying it. But it lasts about 14 to 18 months. Thats why I bought 5 of them, since the bluetooth stops working properly after 14 to 18 months. I see from my Amazon order history that yes, I keep buying one 14 to 18 months since they break. I think warranty is 1 year. My last one lasted 7 months. but its great when it works!

> 3 dayThe instructions do not clearly state what the steps are and in what order. The screen shots do not match what I see on my phone. Do you download the application first? You need to ensure you have Alexa, or Echo application on your phone along with the Smart Life application. Wanted to run it simply from my Alexa but that didnt seem to be possible without running through the Alexa Application. There is discussion about Quick Mode or AP mode configuration. No explanation of what AP mode is or why you might choose it. They suggest Quick Mode but dont explain why. My phone does not have a QR code reader. It appears that might be the easiest way however, I dont have that. You will need to remember your wifi network name (easy) and password. (Not as easy). Our devices all automatically log on to the home wifi network. We havent entered a password for 2 years. We have unfortunately forgotten the password. That means resetting it mid stream. Not fun. It doesnt tell you to plug in the smart plug before starting. Maybe obvious but it doesnt tell you that. Should you plug in the appliance with the plug? Tells you to rename your device, but doesnt show you screen shots for that. Smart Plug was not in the device list to choose from on the application. Instead it showed pictures of the same electrical plug with 3 options. What option should you choose? Been frustrating. I am not technically advanced, but I also am not completely inept. This product and the incomplete instructions have made me feel inept. Some may get this right away. But I havent, and I now have 4 plugs that are expensive and not really useful to me. I would pass to a different brand in hopes of better instructions. I chose because I wanted to run from my Alexa in the house. Dont want to run it from a phone app because what does everyone else do when I am not at the house? Should be run from the Alexa device. Not the Alexa app.
