> 3 dayThe instructions do not clearly state what the steps are and in what order. The screen shots do not match what I see on my phone. Do you download the application first? You need to ensure you have Alexa, or Echo application on your phone along with the Smart Life application. Wanted to run it simply from my Alexa but that didnt seem to be possible without running through the Alexa Application. There is discussion about Quick Mode or AP mode configuration. No explanation of what AP mode is or why you might choose it. They suggest Quick Mode but dont explain why. My phone does not have a QR code reader. It appears that might be the easiest way however, I dont have that. You will need to remember your wifi network name (easy) and password. (Not as easy). Our devices all automatically log on to the home wifi network. We havent entered a password for 2 years. We have unfortunately forgotten the password. That means resetting it mid stream. Not fun. It doesnt tell you to plug in the smart plug before starting. Maybe obvious but it doesnt tell you that. Should you plug in the appliance with the plug? Tells you to rename your device, but doesnt show you screen shots for that. Smart Plug was not in the device list to choose from on the application. Instead it showed pictures of the same electrical plug with 3 options. What option should you choose? Been frustrating. I am not technically advanced, but I also am not completely inept. This product and the incomplete instructions have made me feel inept. Some may get this right away. But I havent, and I now have 4 plugs that are expensive and not really useful to me. I would pass to a different brand in hopes of better instructions. I chose because I wanted to run from my Alexa in the house. Dont want to run it from a phone app because what does everyone else do when I am not at the house? Should be run from the Alexa device. Not the Alexa app.

> 3 dayThe set up is a little annoying. You have to use the manufacturers app, then you have to have the Alexa app. It is straight forward enough, but seriously, we should be at the point, where I should be able to just tell Alexa to add a new device, right? And there is one more random fact, which is that the plug can only be voice activated from one of your Alexa devices. Why? Who knows. But it is cool to be able to turn on a light from the app. Very cool.

Greater than one weekWorks as intended. Kept failing when trying to use my 5GHz wifi. Switched to 2.4GHz and connected fine. I assume it isnt compatible with the 5GHz frequency.

> 3 dayIm only using one of the plugs right now but it frequently goes offline for no apparent reason, then I have to go through the whole process of setting it up through the smart home app. My bedroom only has one plug to plug in my small fan about 6 feet from the bed, so instead of getting up and down several times a night during the night to turn the fan off and on for my hot flashes, I can just tell Alexa to turn the fan off or on. Its a grewt

> 3 dayIf you look closely, you can see the plug starting to melt! I kept smelling something and couldnt figure out where it was coming from. I had my electric fireplace plugged into a power strip. The fireplace finally just turn off. I found out where the smell was coming from. The app told me I was offline. Be careful not to use a power strip or smart plug to run your fireplace.

> 3 dayGreat value for the money. It works 100% of the time, no issues whatsoever. It was very easy to set up, too. We got these to have control of our daughter’s TV at night to make sure the TV shuts off at a certain time. It is easy to control using the app on our phones!

> 3 dayI rarely loose my phone. I have bought many remote controlled light switches but they invariably break or get lost. Plus the only have the option of on and off. These Bluetooth sockets are capable of so much more. Will buy again.

> 3 dayI own about fifteen or so of these and they work fine but for one item. I have my stereo in the garage with wired speakers throughout the house. When I want the music on, the plug will turn on the stereo. Later, when the garage is locked and I want the music OFF, the plug will not respond. I have tried three different plugs, they all work well on other lights, etc., but they will NOT turn the music OFF. I have written to various sites, but have not received a single response, even a beats me.
