> 24 hourSo I got this product because my car AC went out in the middle of the summer. I can’t get an appointment at the dealership to fix it for 4 weeks out. I would like to say that this AC is not THAT bad it gave me a cool breeze while driving. Of course I had to buy a charger with a USB port because the one they provided plugs directly in the wall. I would also like to mention that if you plan to use this you must freeze the A/C filter Component daily and after about 2-3 hours of use the AC that blows isn’t really that cold. So my advice if you HAVE to get this product just know that’s it’s a temporary solution and will require some preparation to ensure your getting cool. However this product can not cool a room (even a small closet) really it can only cool a person lol literally one person with the vent blowing directly on that ONE person but it’s better then being hot with no relief.

> 24 hourNot going to cool a whole room but if you freeze the pad it definitely helps keeps a personal bubble of coolness for a good amount of time

> 24 hourI got it before it dropped to 3 stars but at most you will point this at yourself while you sleep and get cool air. Dont expect cold air or it to cool your bedroom even if its closet size. I add ice cubes all the time and blast it on turbo mode to feel anything. would i recommend you pick this up? Nah, save and get a window unit. or buy a 5-10 gallon bag of ice put it in a bucket and place a box fan on top.

> 24 hourI had bought this for my husband who is an over the road truck driver because his bunk air conditioning went out in his truck. I dont know if he will want to deal with soaking the filter in water and then filling it up with water but if hes hot enough, I guess he will. I tried it out in the downstairs of our house which is roughly 1,000 square feet. I had our downstairs central air set on 73° and I turned on the Artic Air in the kitchen, after soaking the filter in water, then placing it in the freezer for about thirty minutes, then filling the artic air with cold refrigerated water. After about twenty minutes, it had the temperature in our kitchen down to 69°. I have a picture of the thermometer in the picture. The top number is the outside temperature with the humidity amount and the bottom number is the inside temperature with the inside humidity amount. I was impressed with the way the little machine worked but I honestly dont think my husband will want to go through all of the steps necessary to make it work the best but it would definitely do the job if he does decide to use it!!

> 24 hourI got my Arctic Air Pure Cool 2.0 yesterday and tested it last night. This works as advertised and does exactly what its designed to do. This is not an air conditioner with a compressor etc etc. It is a small, personal evaporative air cooler and works only to cool you and not the entire room. It works best close to you and pointed at you. It does blow nice, cool air and by following the directions it can be made colder. Technically these dont lie by calling these air conditioners because technically, an evaporative air cooler is a type of air conditioner. Personally I love mine and it actually made me cold last night (I bought it for by my bed for the really hot nights). Very well designed and easy to maintain. Just as I said, do not expect this to cool an entire room, the device isnt meant to do that. As I stated, its to be pointed at you, in close proximity, and filled with water, optimally the cartridge presoaked and frozen, put together and you turn it on to help best the heat and take the edge off. Think if it as a step up from just a tiny desk fan. Very good product though! Be warned, I do live on a humid environment and while this works very well, these are meant to be used on dryer climates. Just Google evaporative air coolers for more info on how they work and such,

> 24 hourThis was fairly easy to use but it did not live up to the hype. It stated that it would cool a room for hours...not! It advertised water as the cooling component, but you have to add ice. I get better cooling from a fan.

> 24 hourThis is certainly not quiet. If youre sitting within about 2 to 5 feet of it, it works well. Thats why I give it two stars. It might work well for a small cubicle or office (aside from the noise). We placed it in our living room near the couch and I dont feel any air and have to turn the TV up really loud to hear anything. I wouldnt buy again.

> 24 hourWorks well for the first couple of times, lightweight and easy to from my bedroom to office, not effective enough particularly in hot weather and plastic made of looks not elegant enough.
