Inexpensive and useful for any TIM application that doesnt require adhesion. There are more fancy thermal interface materials available and some of them are more effective but this stuff is great and easy to apply.

You cant go wrong, this is the best paste out there, just be sure to use the right amount!! and let it set up! it takes several use cycles to setup this means let the CPU get hot then shut down let it cool, just use your computer like normal if you dont shut your computer off for the night it will not set up right!! everyones idea of normal use is not the same!!! A few hours on and a few off will set it up faster and you will see better temps over time. I have a I7 that idles at 22c and peaks at 45c at 100% load this took 2 weeks to achive.

Some of the best in thermal paste. Really lets the heat dissipate when applied correctly. I used to think you just smear the stuff on, but no more than a bb sized drop and you are in good shape.

I put this on a dead gpu, which i baked to bring it back to life, and it has been working for about a month.

When I realized the CPU on my main computer was getting near 80 degrees C during video processing I decided it was time to rip it apart and replace the thermal paste. I ordered a tube of this and replaced it, the temperature now rarely gets about 40C, great investment, and as an added bonus I still have a bit left for a 3rd computer repair when I get around to it.

Very adequate.
