> 24 hourThe screen is nearly bezzless on the three sides, outside of the bottom which houses the front firing speakers, looks comparable to others, its actually stylish looking, rustic to a degree. I had the AD27QD and sent it back for this, had it for nearly a month. Gigabyte does an amazing job with support of their monitors, mine was 1.08, eight firmware updates. IMO, its the Swiss army knife of monitors, that said, Im glad I sent it back for the BenQ, this just looks better overall. I also love the true stereo sound for music and YouTube. Gigabytes offerings all had a degree of noticeable back light bleed, IPS glow, especially the flash-lighting on their VA panels, my gosh, BenQ has none of this. I dont think thats on Gigabyte, its the poor 1500r curved panels they are likely getting from Samsung. The response time is exceptionally similar to AD27QD. I would have bought the Aorus FI27Q-P if it werent $649, it was my first choice overall, though now using the EX2780Q, can’t imagine it would have been as good, this monitor is flawless from an image quality perspective! + HDRi is actually legit, I typically dont even care for HDR much, its nice to have, though sometimes I prefer to play without it, just played Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Xbox One X and used 1440p@120hz, VRR with HDRi and it looked tremendously better than my experiences the Aorus CV27Q and AD27QD. I was really surprised by how natural it looked, not overly colorful where everything appears cartoonish. It actually made the game more realistic looking, grass and foliage appeared much more detailed and natural green tones. Modern Warfare looks incredible on this monitor, plays great, very responsive and incredibly detailed looking. This monitor is capable of 1440p@120hz, VRR and HDR all checked at the same time for the Xbox One X, though unfortunately X will only use the HDR if you have it upscaled to 4K, either way looks great. I played both and prefer the 1440p mode with HDRi. PS4 Pro is able to be played in 4K HDR (upscaled), PC gaming was great as well. + Super dark backlight, ZERO discernible back light bleed, VA like, very, very pleasantly surprised. + Looks as good if not better than my LG 32UD99 which is one hell of a monitor in its own right. + Colors look great, playing the new Age of Empires II DE was a truly mesmerizing experience, this monitor truly has some damn good looking, saturated, yet natural colors. + Audio is the best Ive heard on a monitor, my LG actually has great sound as well, its right up there, though the EX has more depth of sound, with the included sub-woofer. Great for YouTube, Spotify etc. + Exceptional uniformity throughout, medical grade black, white and grey, pure. + Image response time is very good, going to test this more to see how it performs in fast moving games. + Clear AG coating, not coarse, smooth, natural look. + Included controller is fantastic, super handy and the audio wheel on the left, smart setup. - Would only let me select 10bit color with 120hz, vice 144hz. This is an issue to me, the Aorus CV27Q would let me use 10bit color at 165hz, zero issues. I dont get this, supposedly the BenQ has DP 1.4, so it should be able to do this, very disappointing. Checked the manual, it only support 120hz with 10bit color. - Color vibrancy is nowhere near as good as the enhance color options on something like the Acer XV273K, which IMO, is the pinnacle of image quality if not for some of its quirks. Im referring to the method of pushing the vibrancy beyond the default, really no need to, looks great at 10. - Comes in the smallest box Ive seen for a 27-inch, looked like a lego set arrived, crazy how small compared to the Acer for example, though it did come with no issues, so guess it works. - The Stand!!!!!

> 24 hourI love this monitor. I have had high end Asus models before that I also loved but found the color a bit washed out. They were great for gaming, but I wanted something that was great for gaming and could be a second display in the living room for sports or games. This monitor nails that. The color on this monitor is incredible. The blacks are way deeper than I expected. By comparison, the colors out of the box and the deep ness of the blacks are way better than my 70” 4K Vizio M series tv. Other things I really enjoyed -Freesync over HDMI - I play on both PC and XBOX one - This monitor does freesync on both and looks smooth as can be in both scenarios -2k resolution works with PS4 Pro - PS4 Pro doesnt support 2k resolution and many monitors look terrible when converting from 4K to 2k or 1080 to 2k. This one looks great. Very surprised -USBC video display port with PD to hook up my MacBook and charge concurrently. -The speakers are surprisingly good. Most of the time I use a gaming headset so its a bit of a waste for me but something to consider if you dont use a headset. You could certainly use these without external speakers and save some money that way -The remote is something I didnt think was necessary, but after having it, I wish all monitors had one. Things I didnt enjoy as much -HDRi - I dont know that this features works as I was expecting. I dont see a huge difference between the different modes and maybe I am not running it correctly, but I dont notice it

> 24 hourReview is for BenQ EX2780Q 27 QHD 1440p IPS 144Hz Gaming Monitor. I love this monitor! Im so glad I requested this from my wife as my gift for Christmas. My original monitor of choice was the LG 27GL850 27 QHD Nano IPS 144Hz Gaming Monitor. But reading that this monitor is on backorder for months now. Ive waited for over a month still nothing. I decided to cancel and look for something else. Im glad I found this monitor. Via a YouTube video for best gaming monitor for 2019. I purchased this monitor in December 22nd 2019. This BenQ gaming monitor was everything I was looking for in a new upgraded panel. That perfect balance of the picture quality in color and speed for gaming. All the while this monitor hands down improved my game! I Have more screen to look at. And the sweet refresh rate! This monitor was definitely designed to game on. I Have also plugged in my PS4 via HDMI and configured it to HDR. Its a great buy and I highly recommend this! I have also done photo editing using Lightroom and wow do the colors look as they should. Only thing is this monitor is bright! That’s my con for this monitor. It’s not great in a dark room. You will notice that blacks aren’t truly black. More of a dark gray. I didnt know 350 nits is more than enough for my personal taste. But it performs fantastically in a well lit room. It also handles screen reflections/glare very well. Since the panel has a matte finish. Bonus. The remote makes life easier to tune settings vs the joy stick behind the monitor. Kick back and relax if you are watching. Sounds from the built in speakers are nice and definitely suits any office environment. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourExcellent well rounded 1440p 144hz ips gaming panel! Crystal clear display... No bleeding or backlight problems... all pixels are perfect... Excellent response time... HDRi is emulated... not true HDR as the monitor lacks proper amount of nits for true hdr... but the emulated HDRi definitely gives a nice boost overall! The remote control makes this monitor extremely user friendly, ironically many may not even need as the moniter menu buttons and the volume knob are extremely user friendly as well. This is a good monitor! Stand may look on the cheaper side however has been very durable... Cannot be tilted too much...but it gets the job done.

> 24 hourThis monitor is a solid monitor. Highly recommend for next gen gaming. I use it for my PS5, and love the fact that it has 1440p. The PS5 runs games at 4K and the monitor forces it down to 1440p (although PS5 does not support it). Crystal clear at 120hz and 1080p. No regrets on this purchase, speakers are awesome as well. Well done BenQ, never fails to impress me.

> 24 hourBought the EX2780Q after seeing so many positive reviews and finding it can do 1440p @120hz on the Xbox One X. Pictures and online reviews simply cannot do this monitor justice. In real life, it has a incredible image quality. Ive tried numerous monitors and this is the first to give me that wow feeling. Color reproduction is incredible and it runs all of the games Ive tried thus far smooth as silk. For reference I play shooters about 95% of the time so speed is important to me. I have not tried the monitors speakers as I always use a wireless headset. I do see though where some people can have a problem with a few aspects of the monitor that dont bother me. First would be that the stand is tilt only. It sits at a perfect height for me and is very stable so not an issue for me. Secondly would be the cable management system. Im only using a single hdmi and the power cable and I dont really have much room remaining without the cover portion of the stand falling off. If you are intending on using the display port and both hdmi inputs then i honestly dont see how the cover would ever stay on. Then again if you dont care about cable management then its not a issue. I also really like the supplied remote more than I thought I would. Granted I play at a desk but its just convenient to access everything with the remote instead of using the navigation joystick on the back of the monitor. Overall i highly recommended this monitor. Its on instance where I spent over $400 for something game related and have zero issues justifying its price.

> 24 hourThe monitor has everything good that you desire from a quality screen except the poor HDRi. The feature itself isnt too bad but the automatic adjustments are very noticeable in some environments. I suggest you stick to Display HDR if you enable HDR at all.

> 24 hourThe TV market right now is awful, so I opted to buy this monitor for playing console games. I was iffy at first, but now I dont regret the purchase at all. The controller is invaluable, and the stock speakers are surprisingly good (better than my jank soundbar). The one downside is the volume control on the remote is beyond slow, and the volume on the monitor is borderline functional (if you scroll too fast it does not register the volume change, and actually randomly adjusts the volume up or down)

> 24 hourI was so happy to get this deal discounted $200. I am from Singapore. this model is not even released yet here. imported over amazon US. worrying about dead pixel and ips backlight bleed. no dead pixel.. however there is small noticeable backlight bleed at the corner.. nothing distracting. I can tolerate with it. this monitor is so well factory calibrated out of the box. I dont bother with any post calibration at all. the pleasing part is, even I watch SDR content.. the color just pops.. truly enjoying to watch all the content. the other feature I love the most is the remote!!I hook my pc and ps4 pro to it. it auto detects the signal and change to it. the remote is so convenient.. not to mention despite that it is the display, it can receive 4k signal. my ps4 pro detects this as 4k display. oh my. dunno what I else I can ask for... been waiting for a monitor that tick all my boxes.. this is it except for clear motion blur. but I can live with it. I have a esport benq monitor, I can always play my game on TN panel if i want to... but this IPS panel, I could foresee I would enjoy it more and willing to sacrifice the few ms response time for my fps game.
