> 3 dayAbsolutely in love with this monitor! The clarity and color definition with the resolution and refresh rate is the sweet spot for me. As it should be for most gamers. The amazing 2.1 speakers are a bonus. Probable best speakers available in monitors currently on the market. The remote is a nice touch as well and hdri features work great well!

> 3 dayI love this monitor. The built in sound is great, saves space on having speakers. The picture quality is superb. I know, the HDR doesnt work, that might disappoint some people, but the picture quality is so great that Im not sure why do I need the HDR. Its very sturdy unlike other flimsy monitors. Also, it looks great and refined. And why do you need 4K if youre sitting so close to it?!

> 3 dayThe most remarkable thing about this monitor is that it has a a remote. The TLDR version of this review is that BenQ is using an obscure or new remote code to control this monitor that you most likely won’t find is compatible with your universal remote. This is a huge fail on the part of BenQ since the only reason you’d want a remote is to control the monitor remotely while using a different device (presumably with its own remote). I also own a 4K ASUS monitor in the same price range and it’s per much exactly the same (but a little cheaper). So if we’re being honest here, the only thing that sets this monitor apart is a feature rendered largely useless in practical application. I bought it as a second monitor that could be used as a dual display or, when hooked up to my Roku, act as a 4K TV. The Roku universal remote for the Roku Stick+ has both IR and Bluetooth. It also is programmable with an insane amount of codes, including 12 remote codes for BenQ TVs. Yes, that’s right, they didn’t use one of these existing codes and opted to use an obscure or new one. Since the stick is behind the display, you’ll need to control it via Bluetooth and I know of no “learning” universals that come with that capability. Sometimes remote codes used by a different manufacturer will work but I have‘my found any and I’ve spent over an hour trying every name brand you’ve likely heard and some you haven’t.

> 3 dayThis is for the 144hz 1440p ips: it’s absolutely incredible for the price. It uses the same panel as the other 1440p 144hz ips panels as only one exists to my knowledge, and the feature set is top notch. I have yet to use a display port with it, due to the fact that it doesnt come with one which would be my only gripe, but its beautiful and silky smooth. I highly recommend an rtx 2070 or better, as I’m using a galax 2060 currently and I have yet to experience 144hz on qhd at max settings with AAA titles. It is truly a pleasure to use.

> 3 dayIt has been a few years since I purchased a new monitor. All of my past monitors and TVs were Samsung. Obviously the resolution was going to be better than my 1080P, but the color is also much better. This replaced an even older Samsung, now I want to replace the newer one also.
