Our technician recommended MERV 8 filters and he said to get them from Amazon. These did not disappoint. They came quick, are well made and the added bonus is they are USA made. The price was less than the ones from the local hardware store.

Received 20x20x1 which is direct replacement for my system. Filter media appears to be of good quality and construction. Works as intended.

After the size on furnace filters, one of the other considerations is which MERV rating works best for you. Do you have allergy sufferers or someone with asthma or other respiratory illnesses? A higher MERV rating will filter out smaller particles and may help. The other consideration is the wear and tear on your furnace. MERV ratings of 8-13 are the general recommendation for home HVAC systems. The higher the rating, the smaller the particles that they will filter out of the air. So, why dont we all get MERV 13? The higher ratings are also harder on your HVAC unit. They cause more wear and tear, and also affect efficiency. For us, we use MERV 8, and that works fine. We have used budget filters that arent even that high. You can google info on MERV ratings and make the decision that best suits your situation. What to say about a furnace filter? These seem nicely made, and they come sealed in a large plastic bag that keeps dust and contaminants out. I am not sure without comparing side by side how to judge a filter beyond its specifications. These are nicer than our old filters. They are very clean, no odor, and have nothing negative that stands out. These filters satisfy our needs, and there are no cons that I am aware of. I would go with this brand again.

I recently received these air filters and have been using them for a couple weeks now. Overall, I am quite pleased with their performance. The electrostatic pleating definitely seems to be effective in trapping dust, mold, pollen and lint - I noticed a significant decrease in the amount of dust in my home since installing them. The MERV 8 rating is also a plus, as it means they are able to capture smaller particles. The fact that they are made in the USA is also appreciated. I found them easy to install - they fit snugly into my furnace filter slot. The only drawback Ive noticed so far is that they may need to be replaced more frequently than other filters Ive used, as they seem to fill up faster, but I guess that could be a good thing. Overall, I would recommend these filters to others looking for an effective and high-quality air filter.

These are great replacement filters for your AC system. They fit with out any difficulty. They keep good flow for an entire month.

I’m impressed with how well these filters remove dust and debris from the indoor air circulated through our Air conditioning return duct. They work great are priced accordingly.

Air filters seem to get more expensive every day, or at least for the higher quality ones. I saw this one and like that it is made in the USA. I compared it to another brand that I have on hand, and they are nearly identical. It was easy to install in my furnace (all air filters are easy to install at my house). They came in a large plastic bag. I think I might have preferred a box, but they will be stored in the garage until I need them, so that isnt a deterrent. Since there are 6, these will last at least a year depending on how often we change out the filter.

Great value for great quality air filters! I like these filters especially during the summertime when my AC is working overtime and I’d like a bit more airflow. Super structured and easy to install even when the air is running. Love these and will continue to purchase!
