These are great replacement filters for your AC system. They fit with out any difficulty. They keep good flow for an entire month.

Of the eight filters I received in this pack, four of them had some sort of damage to the cardboard frame or the pleats. BNX touts a reduction of environmental waste by making their frames one-sided, but that should definitely be taken into consideration when deciding how best to pack & ship multiple filters in a way that ensures they maintain their integrity while in transit, and arrive to the buyer in perfect condition. With that said, these are MERV 8 filters, electrostatically charged, with a MPR of 1000 (surprisingly high), and a FPR of 5. Thats a budget (but adequate) MERV & FPR rating, but Im skeptical of the supposed MPR1000 comparison. MERV is the industry standard, and FPR & MPR are Home Depots & 3Ms brand specific ratings, respectively. These BNX filters have my curiosity piqued with a MPR1000 equivalence (3M rating equivalence to a MERV 11 filter), so I really dont know what to think about the filtration ability of these MERV 8s. Basically, MERV 8 filters are supposed to capture 70% of particles sized 3-10 microns & 20% of particles sized 1-3 microns. MPR1000 means theyre catching 88% of the 3-10; 77% of the 1-3; AND 41% of the .3-1. If they truly filter to this degree, they should be rated between MERV 11 & MERV 12, so Im not sure Im buying the MPR1000 equivalence. Theyre priced in such a way that it makes the most sense to buy larger quantities. I got the eight pack for $60.99, so $7.62 each. Not sure if these are worth the price if the MPR rating is off. MERV 8 filters of this size (20x25x1) are around $5-6 each. Considering the flimsy frame, these seem a little overpriced for what youre getting. They shouldnt be more than $6 each on average. Unless Im wrong about the MPR1000 & they really do filter that well, in which case some documentation would be great, and $7.62 each would be an okay price.

I typically get the 3 pack of filters from the box store. I do change my filter religiously every 3 months. This filter seems solid although I’m not familiar with the manufacturer. It has a FPR of 8 which is higher than the 5 I usually get. Price for the 4 pack is fairly reasonable. Already have it in my furnace!

I used BNX MERV 13 filters last year and they worked well and lasted nearly 3 months per filter so Im hoping these will do the same. I decided to move to MERV 8, as I also have a return air filter and didnt want to push my system so hard. The fit and build quality appears to be equivalent to other filters Ive used (eg. HDX) and they are made here in the USA, which is a plus. I do wish that the filters were individually wrapped rather than having to rely on the big bag holding all the filters - this is something the HDX does for their filters and I like this convenience. Overall, I liked these enough to keep using them for another year. I will update my review if anything changes.

Like most people Im sure, its hard to keep replacing furnace filters front of mind when its only an every three months or so event. And when I do remember, its nice to have a stash already on-hand. This multi-pack of filters certainly fills that bill -- I have two systems, and with 9 in the pack it will cover that need for a year or perhaps more. These are a perfect fit; better in fact than ones I have been using. The listing and packaging indicate the filters are electrostatically charged, which is a definite plus for capturing more dust. Though Im not exactly sure what makes these passive filters electrostatic, I suspect it has to do with the thin wire mesh on side of the filter generating the tiny electrostatic charge as air passes over it. Anyway, at less than $8 apiece, these are quite a bit cheaper than buying them at the big box stores -- probably 30% or more cheaper. And, again, having a lot of them on hand is certainly convenient.

I am very happy with these filters and would buy them again. Pros * Made in the USA! * Great price, these were 10 for $64.99 so $6.49 each, thats great for a quality filter * they are the correct size * They are a MERV 8 which is a middle of the road filter as far as performance, which is nice. I have an HVAC tech as a friend and he says you dont want one that filters too well because it will not flow enough air. This one is great because its in the middle, it gets the small stuff, but allows your HVAC to breathe as well. * They came well packaged and are not damaged. *These work on odors, pet dander, allergens, dust, lint, mold, dust mites Cons * they werent free * Seriously I dont have anything

Hard to beat these filters. The previous brand we were paying upwards of $30-40 for two. Granted these MERV8 are not the be all catch all type of filter we were purchasing before, but BNX does provide additional options for coverage. Filters came nicely boxed and fit great into our furnace. BNX will be our go-to now for filters as we love to support USA made products!

I live in a part of CA where my summer air quality is sometimes tainted by smoke from wildfires. After a 2 month period last summer I went to check on my air filter and I kid not, it was dark grey. THAT is how much soot was in the air. I dont normally change my air filters that often, but after seeing that, I have vowed to change my air filters more often in the summer months. These fit correctly into my furnace/air conditioning unit, so I am happy with my purchase.

These are a good value for the quality and quantity. Since filters need to changed frequently, I don’t see much difference or the point in the higher filtration ones that cost considerably more per unit. Allergies and anything else that floats in the air seem to be more intense in recent years, It’s great to know I’m stocked with well over a years worth of clean air! Change those filters often!
