Toy is a misleading word here. Although easily used by children with great results, just as suitable for Adult hobbyist or even professional artist. Colors are brilliant and formulation very smooth.

I debated on whether I should invest in these because they are expensive. I read reviews and I got many who simply loved these. I tried less expensive brands and was sadly disappointed, I found that either they left streaks or they wouldnt blend after application. With the Neocolor II I had smooth, blended work when I was finished. My sources were correct, they are worth every penny if you are a serious artist.

So many colors, so many things to use it on! This was the most reasonably priced set I could find throughout all the art supply stores.

Update: They are still BEAUTIFUL! Side by side with Daniel Smith they holdup very nicely you can’t tell the difference. See photos below. These are so BEAUTIFUL. They feel like butter. I cant wait to use them. I know they are WAY over the level of art that I do but, who cares. I wish I could have gotten the full set 126 but, one day! My very first review with photos.

A nice little kit to carry on holidays for professional or amateur. A good range of hues. Buy the paint brush, too.
