> 24 hourWhat a let-down! Im generally a fan of Nancy and her notions, but this one is not very useful. First, its flimsy plastic. I have to keep it out of the fray when Im sewing just to make sure it isnt cracked. Also, the sliding gauge doesnt stay put, despite the little locking plastic piece that is supposed to hold it. If this was all metal Id love it. Theres a hole inside a rotating disc near the top for drawing circles, but the hole is really small. A needle fits, but not a t-pin, which is what you might want to use with a padded work surface. So, good ideas but cheap materials. Again.

> 24 hourI make clothes for my grandson who has Dwarfism. That requires a lot of modifying patterns and this tool is very helpful to measure accurately.

> 24 hourSaw this on a YouTube video with Nancy Zieman. I have the original metal type but thought this looked interesting. While I cant figure out all the uses, the main use as a gauge works Terrifically! I wish it were metal but it is so helpful. I am able to mark things out much more accurately when sewing which saves time and frustration! Ive even ordered several other of Nancys items because this one worked so well. Oh, I am a sewing grandma who always looks for new things to sew and ways to make my sewing faster and more fun!

> 24 hourNancy Zieman is a 21st century sewing genius! This little gadget is light years beyond the old fashioned Dritz measuring gauge because you can click the slider to lock the measurement into place. I use my 5 in 1 Sliding Gauge all the time, especially on tailoring projects. Its so easy to use and so handy.

> 24 hourI do like this as it is easy to use and glides easily to measurements and yet does not move out of place when using on fabric

> 24 hourThis is my second one. The first one I used my rotary cutter with--dont do that! I cut part of the flat part off so hence, the second one. It is very handy and locks into place so it doesnt move unless you want it to.

> 24 hourI have had a metal gauge for years and its still my favorite. I do like this gauge but its not so good for measuring one eighth or one quarter inch. The things I like best about it are the broad section at the end and it makes drawing accurate circles easy. However its only plastic and I think it is a bit overpriced.

> 24 hourSliding gauge stays in place. I love how if I am sewing several items of the same thing and need the same measurement, the guide stays in place. No more having to adjust slide and fumbling with a ruler. So glad I found this gauge. Price was cheaper on Amazon than on other sites.
