Has multiple uses, though, so will be versatile as long as it holds up.

I buy seam guages by the dozen. Should have bought this years ago. Easy to read. Makes adding seam allowances and marking hem fast and accurate.

This is my second one. The first one I used my rotary cutter with--dont do that! I cut part of the flat part off so hence, the second one. It is very handy and locks into place so it doesnt move unless you want it to.

I find this Sliding Gauge extremely useful when Im doing various quilting tasks. Making sure the applique is centered or the sashings & boarders are even, and so many more tasks required during the making of a quilt. I would recommend this for anyone doing any type of sewing.

I really love this sliding gauge. It is accurate and easy to use. I have an old metal gauge and the slightest bump will throw your measurements off. This gauge locks into place and its wider so you can use it for tapered pieces and still have an accurate measurement.

Very handy and clever sewing gadget. It has many functions and I like to keep it withi reach when I am sewing.

Still havent figured everything out with this thing, but I purchased it for the measuring part. Love it. Wish there was a metal one so I could iron over it though.

What a let-down! Im generally a fan of Nancy and her notions, but this one is not very useful. First, its flimsy plastic. I have to keep it out of the fray when Im sewing just to make sure it isnt cracked. Also, the sliding gauge doesnt stay put, despite the little locking plastic piece that is supposed to hold it. If this was all metal Id love it. Theres a hole inside a rotating disc near the top for drawing circles, but the hole is really small. A needle fits, but not a t-pin, which is what you might want to use with a padded work surface. So, good ideas but cheap materials. Again.

Bought as a replacement for an old hemmer which broke Can be used for a couple of different things. Easy to use and read Was a little more costly than others that appear to be the same. It had a better rating that is why I bought this one
