> 24 hourVery versatile tool that I plan to use to draw lines for consistent calligraphy spacing, and as a measuring and tracing ruler for papercrafting. The sliding measure glides smoothly and will allow for quick and easy measurement markings. I can also see possibilities for marking bookbinding holes spaced at certain distances.

> 24 hourA little confusing at first simply because it is so different from the old style. Getting to love this gauge!

> 24 hourNice, larger than the older style seam gauges. The slide could be tighter - it moves a bit too easily, so I took off a star.

> 24 hourBought as a replacement for an old hemmer which broke Can be used for a couple of different things. Easy to use and read Was a little more costly than others that appear to be the same. It had a better rating that is why I bought this one

> 24 hourWhat a let-down! Im generally a fan of Nancy and her notions, but this one is not very useful. First, its flimsy plastic. I have to keep it out of the fray when Im sewing just to make sure it isnt cracked. Also, the sliding gauge doesnt stay put, despite the little locking plastic piece that is supposed to hold it. If this was all metal Id love it. Theres a hole inside a rotating disc near the top for drawing circles, but the hole is really small. A needle fits, but not a t-pin, which is what you might want to use with a padded work surface. So, good ideas but cheap materials. Again.

> 24 hourI buy seam guages by the dozen. Should have bought this years ago. Easy to read. Makes adding seam allowances and marking hem fast and accurate.

> 24 hourI like this versatile tool very much & think I will keep the directions so I get the fullest use out of it. If it were made of metal, I would give it 5 stars.
