> 3 dayEverything about this PSU is great except the cables. Dont get me wrong the cables look great (all black cables are wonderful) but the cables are impossible to bend into position in tight spaces and the connectors between cables heads (the part that keeps the 4+4/8-pin cpu headers and the 6+2/8-pin pcie headers together) are pretty flimsy and dont really stay together when trying to plug the cables into the motherboard. But I guess thats the price you pay for full modularity

20-12-2024The box was open when received and multiple cables had the as shipped ties removed from them. I was a bit worried about installing it in a fresh new build. All components were present, and it seems work just fine.

> 3 dayMy old supply still works but it made an unfortunate noise at the fan so I purchased this one and I like that the fan operates only when needed because now with speedfan my pc is practically 0 db now when not using it for cpu/gpu intensive tasks. The 750x does make a switch noise when you turn it on but apparently that is normal though my old supply didnt do that. I dont need 750w but its around the right number 650w would work to.

> 3 dayFixed my pc. I used a PowerSpec 850 as MicroCenter did not have a Corsair. I had all kinds of boot hangups, non boot, power offs. Gave up and bought this supply. All issues gone. Pure joy.

18-12-2024Some thick power cables that go from the power supply to the motherboard have wire mesh sheathing, and where the sheathings end, there are what seems to be thick heat shrink tubes to hold the ends. These tubes are so hard that the cables dont bend at all on the tubes, which can be a serious problem in routing cables inside the computer case. Also because of this inflexibility, it puts a lot more stress on the connectors on the motherboard.
