My computer needed some extra power and so when I was searching for a battery replacement, the dimensions had to be about the same size compared to my 550watt battery. This one specifically met all the size requirements for my tower AND packs a punch. Installation was easy and its super quiet.

I bought a 850w corsair 11 years ago and it finally crapped out. I bought this 850w replacement because I trust the name and because it lasted so long. turning it on and off every day equals about 4000 plus cycles. Being a heavy gamer running 2 video cards with everything overclocked I wanted something that would last and it did. With this new unit, its nice having a modular design so I only plug in the cables that I need instead of having to hide the entire load in my box restricting airflow and being a general pain when you need to add something having to work around all those extra cables that were supplied at the time. only the 2nd most powerful psu ive ever bought and yet it provides the longest life and very quiet and sooo much more power and clean power even in a brown out my pc never skipped a beat and it loves my battery back up power

Bought this psu when it was on sale, initially had the rm750, but decided to upgrade to this. Quality of the unit is great. The cable is a bit stiff though and was a bit hard to manipulate, however after a bit of tweaking, I was able to connect it to the mobo. Haven’t heard the fan noise too much, I do use a headset for gaming and for normal computer use, it’s not intensive. Overall great product and highly recommend it

My unit came with 2 fixed 8pin CPU cables, but is missing the 4+4 cable. Sadly the Asus ROG Maximus XI dont have enough room to fit a full 8pin connector into the 4pin slot (the board needs both an 8pin and a 4pin CPU power connector).

Has been reliable and rock solid so far.
