I had a disappointing experience with my old EVGA 850 power supply, as it suffered from bothersome coil whine under load, resulting in performance issues while gaming, specifically in Elden Ring with my 3080ti. Seeking a solution, I decided to replace it with the Corsair RMx 1KW power supply. The difference was remarkable.

Bought this power supply July 2020 and it failed, just completely stopped working, 10 months later. Do not buy.

Defective PSU. Spent half a day trying to figure out why my motherboard kept turning on and off, and never expected a brand new PSU would be the problem. I have much higher expectations when spending $320 on a PSU.

After installing, wouldnt power on, dead on arrival. Amazon wouldnt replace it but gave me a refund, Im ordering another one but if its doa too ill try contacting corsair.
