Always have liked these 3D NAND SSDs, as they have better write/erase-cycly life than the standard SSDs out there. Have 2-4 of these drives, they havent given me any trouble (yet). I have been hearing here lately (Sept 21) that WD and some others have been substituting crappier flash in the same model numbers that used higher-grade flash previously, so read the fine print carefully and look for specs.

I have used three of these SSDs so far. They are extremely easy to install, either as an additional drive or a replacement. Crucials installation videos and parallel written instructions are clear and accurate. Great little drives.

Easily installed and gave new life to an older machine that had their Spinning Rust drive finally give up the ghost.

Its a nice upgrade from the traditional hard drive. Basically transform an old laptop to a newer machine.

Was extremely easy to install in ps4 ( props to Sony). Now the console cant fully benefit from an SSD, but it is a lot faster on boot and game load screens. Recommend if you can spare the $60.

I dread any time I have to update my PCs hardware, and this item has fueled my anxiety with yet another justification. The SATA and power connector on this drive is extremely flimsy; just barely any strength trying to adjust the cables when installing it caused the plastic housing to crack. Then the SSD wasnt detected by my motherboard anymore. I panicked not knowing if my clumsiness or the awful structural integrity of this thing had caused me to lose terabytes of precious data. Thankfully because nothing had snapped off I reseated the thing several times and finally got it working again. Im now immediately moving off everything important from this two-month-old drive and looking for a replacement.

A bit on an expensive side but I guess it is worth the price.

After copying my hard disk and replacing it with this product my computer start time was greatly reduced (about one tenth of what it had been) and the speed of programs starting is apparently 2-3 times faster. Such a simple change for a great performance boost.
