Greater than one weekIve used SSD drives for years with no issues. This one from Crucial died after just months of use. They were willing to swap it out but needed the drive back and they cant promise not to refurbish it. Well, it has personal data on it that I obviously cant remove since the drive is dead. So I had to eat the cost to not risk my personal data getting into who knows hands. Dont waste your money.

> 3 dayThis is a solid-state drive. My first drive of this type. What an improvement. Fast! Quiet! Absolutely no delay on start up. I recommend changing your hard-drive to solid-state. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayInstalled as a replacement primary drive in an Apple Mac mini. Perfect fit - easy install. Easy rebuild from a Time Machine backup. Good quality product - have had one in a Apple MacBook Pro for several years with no issues. Makes for a much faster responding computer now that the slow spinning hard drive is replaced with a solid state drive.

> 3 dayApparently some SSD caddies don’t properly recognise these large drives when connected to some macs m. When I first connected this to my Mac, disk utility reported that it was a 1.8 TB drive and there was no way I could format it as 4 TB. It turned out that the issue was my caddy, but I didn’t find this out until I had spent a lot of time online, searching, help forums etc. It would be handy if the manufacturer put a note in With the drive to save all that frustration as this is happening to many users. I got around the problem by connecting the caddy to a Windows machine and formatting as fat 32, then reconnected to the Mac and re-partitioning as Mac Format.
