The link form Crucial for the Acronis cloning software did not work. I contacted Crucial and they were very helpful and gave me the correct link. This is an easy process. The cloning software works great and installation is easy. Hard drive is very vast and quiet.

Installed in my Dell Inspiron 17 5000 Series Laptop. Install was very easy as well as transfer all of the data from the disk drive. The only issue I have is occasionally it may just reboot and then the hard drive is not recognized. Usually just powering off and back on resolves this. Overall the speed increase was great.

I bought this drive to replace a fully functional Crucial 250gb SSD to get ready for Win 11 when it is released. My PC UEFI BIOS recognized the drive immediately but Win 10 refused. After trying almost every trick I found online (each one worthless and a monumental waste of time) I stumbled onto a site that suggested using 3rd party device controllers. I went that way with EaseUS and finally had success. I had spent 4+ hours trying BAD info that is all over the internet. Dont fight Win 10. Go with 3rd party for this. It took only minutes. This was a nightmare that didnt have to happen if Win 10 was smarter.

I installed this SSD to replace an aging Seagate HDD 1TB. I used Clonezilla but you can download the Acronis tools from the Crucial website. I have use that before and works great too. Performance was VERY good. 1 Millisecond response time vs. mr OLD at like 100ms or more! I definately recommend. Hopefully it lasts a long time. More then my old spining HDD 2 years max!

Se nota la diferencia en un disco solido, mi laptop es mucho mas rapida y viene con su propio software para pasar todo el sistema. Funciona excelente.

This was the easiest drive install I have done. Brought an 8 yr old MBP back to life. Dropped boot up time from 4+ min to 30 sec. Should have done it years ago.
