This must be the fourth or fifth Crucial solid state drive (SSD) that I have. These are all excellent and improve the performance of the computer. All desktop installations have been very straight forward. The laptop installations are easy in some machines -- like an HP; but an absolute bear in other machines like a Dell Inspiron. The cloning process has always worked as advertised. You do need to purchase a USB transfer cable for the cloning process.

Dependable, easy-to-install. I bought two, one for my PC and the other for my Macbook Pro. Both installations were easy and for the past year I have not had any problems.

I got a 500gb ssd from crucial and it was the best decision that I made, my computer went from being super slow because of a hdd that I had been using for over two years, to extremely fast, Its an amazing product, I only wish I had gotten a 1TB version of it, in the future Ill be expaning to a 1TB or 2TB. Than you crucial for such a great product.

Before installing this product on a HP pavilion desktop the boot was about 2 minutes. After the easy install and clone, it decreased to about 20 seconds. I would have been more satisfied if the manufacturer included screws and a bracket instead of a spacer. I recommend this product.
