Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD, up to 560MB/s - CT500MX500SSD1(Z)

This replaces my previous Crucial SSD (256gb) and is just as reliable. Bearing in mind the age of my 256gb and the fact I was running out of space, I decided to take advantage of Amazons Black Friday deal. It was so easy to cline my smaller drive and transfer it to this larger one. You really need to buy the cable which is advertised as usually bought together, for about £5. Its not a wasre of money as you can then attach that cable to your old drive and use it as an external SSD Drive! You can just do that, leaving it dangling out of the USB Slot, or buy an outer shell and have it on your desktop, looking just like any other external drive.

I am Loving this SSD i have had no problems with it and it runs smoothly. I was torn between this and the Samsung 500gb SSD but this one was cheaper so i thought id go with it and Crucial done a great job!

Ho acquistato questo SSD per sostituire l’ormai obsoleto e lentissimo HD sul mio MacBook Pro 2010 il quale impiegava 1 minuti e 25 secondi per accendersi contro i 15 secondi attuali !! Senza considerare tutte le app/programmi che funzionano in maniera fulminea. Per la sostituzione ho seguito uno dei tanti tutorial su YouTube. Non dimenticare di fare un completo backup della memoria e di rendere avviabile una pendrive (di almeno 8gb) con il sistema operativo precedentemente installato. Prima dell’acquisto consiglio di controllare dal sito del produttore l’esatta compatibilità con il prodotto Apple. Ciò detto il vostro Mac cambierà decisamente i connotati !! Consigliatissimo. Naturalmente impeccabile servizio Amazon !!

This was bought to replace a smaller SSD as my main hard drive. I cloned the old one which was getting to it maximum using the cloning software on the Crucial website, it took a while to do. But, it works very well and can recommend it and it was a good price.

It arrive quickly. And works great. I would definitely recommend this seller.
