I used these on older Macs [El Capitan], and as MBR Win7 drives. I bought 3 in about 2018 I think, and they are serving me well, and really sped up the computers from hard drives. I am going to try them as GPT drives for Win10 and 11. Good brand. Good metal case. Easy to install in computer. Very pleased.

much better than my old kingston a400 but that was much cheaper. it had poor performance when filling up.... this doesnt seem to have that problem

Ive installed six of the two terabyte SSDs in HP desktops - they all worked flawlessly and are many times faster than the original SATA hard drives. In use for about four months now without any problems. I use EZ-Gig for imaging. The Crucial Executive Storage App (free download) is also very nice.

My old Dell E5530 laptop was grinding to a halt in performance. I believe the old magnetic drive was having issues and the computer was extremely slow to use. I bought this and swapped the drive, fresh install. The difference was amazing. Its crazy how much of older computer lag is related to hard drives. Newer / faster CPU computers are often not really needed if your not gaming or doing other things like video editing that require a lot of performance. On top of that this item seems to provide the best price to value I could find in the 500 GB variety.
