Greater than one weekThe drive does what it should but the software (Acronis) that Crucial supply for cloning is total rubbish. After several attempts to clone Windows 10 failed I turned to Macrium reflect, it worked first time.

> 3 dayThe Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD was exactly what this laptop needed. I took out the slow 5400 HDD and replaced it with the SSD. It was a lot easier than I thought. The detailed instructions and videos from Crucial made it easy. It also helped that there was a video on YouTube showing the upgrade of my HP Notebook 15-ay196nr. The laptop was only about 1.5 years old and was almost unusable. Now its great! Went from 100% utilization of disk to not more than around 10%. I can not say enough about this upgrade. If you have a slow laptop with 5400 HDD, upgrade to this SSD now ! SSD + required laptop cable was less than $80.
