fanxiang S101 1TB SSD SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5 Internal Solid State Drive, Read Speed up to 550MB/sec, Compatible with Laptop and PC Desktops(Black)

Bought this 1 TB SSD to replace slower spinner 500 GB on board. Also ordered one stick of 4GB SODimm to round out max to 8 GB Ram by adding this 2nd stick to pair with the existing 4 GB. Already performed disc clone from old to new. Havent added SSD to PC yet. Ill crack it open when RAM arrives next few days.

Only dislike didn’t come with or tell about formatting, drive set up, software, otherwise would have 5 stares.

The product was much lighter than my OCZ drives but I guess that makes sense for the era. Installed one in an Optiplex 790 configured for Hauptwerk. Cut boot time from 2:45 to 1:05 which includes loading Hauptwerk. Performance was significantly improved. Benchmarks were in the claimed range bearing in mind that this is a 10yr old mini PC. The second was in a Lenovo S30, RAID, 32Gig RAM, Nvidia Quatro, Xeon. Performed better in this system the old HDD drives just were not cutting it, but this SSD solved the latency issues. Good job!

Old computers are now still old but quicker on boot and other stuff.

Una excelente opción calidad precio e cambiado la memoria de varias pc y laptop que tenia con disco mecánico en mi casa y aumentan significativamente la velocidad, e comprado varios hasta el momento uno presento un problema mínimo que lo pude solucionar, son fáciles de instalar y el precio es muy bueno en comparación a otros

I wasnt expecting anything from this brand. I bought this item to revive an old laptop but fanxiang really surprised me. Well packed and few plastic and almost no paper envelope, which is a good thing. Once I installed windows 11 on it, the laptop works smooth and nice. I dont give 5 points because it is too soon to know if is going to last. As I said in the title good and cheap

Fast data transfer rate for the money.

Have had it for a month now and it has been working fine. Cant complain!

Used it to replace a bad xbox HDD, seems to work perfect. If I have any later issues, I will update this review.
