Old computers are now still old but quicker on boot and other stuff.

I swapped my old hdd for this ssd. My PC boots up in 30 second compared to 2 minutes. For the low cost, the fact this is a fully working 1tb ssd is something Im amazed by. Would totally recommend.

I bought and installed two 2-TB NVME M.2 Fanxiang SSDs into my ASUS x570 Gaming Plus Wifi desktop computer (Ryzen 12 core CPU and 64GB ram) 5 months ago and they have worked flawlessly with Ubuntu 22.04 linux formatted in either EXT4 or BTRFS (I tried both formats). I just bought this 2-TB SATA Fanxiang SSD an and attached to a SATA3 on the same machine and it too has been working great. Performance with it has been around 550 MB/s ... which is what I expected.

Purchased a dozen of these drives to replace SATA drives in 4 year old HP Desktops and Ive had no problems. It would be helpful if SSD drives (from all manufactures) came with mounting screws because when replacing SATA drives, the screws are a smaller size for SSDs. Other than that, its easy to replace the SATA drives with the SSDs. Drives came nicely packaged.

Price is good, but I would not recommend this for an iMac SSD swap. The macOS software doesn’t like it. It’s definitely faster, but it sometimes freezes up, and beach balls at random times. Even booting up the mac sometimes does strange things like the circle with line through it where the apple logo would be, and telling me to contact apple.support, but then boots normal afterwards. My clone was done through recovery mode/disk utility/restore.
