Takes so long for the auto stop. If any records have engravings in the center or the label is a little off the auto stop will not engage in time and will run right into them. I’ve looked all over for a solution but can’t find any. Just be careful with what record you let run to the end. The sound is amazing and I’m super impressed but the auto stop is giving me a stress I don’t need

Comes with very clear instructions and is easy to setup. Sound quality is great, overall a great product if you want to get into vinyls.

A turntable needs to be simple, good looking, and accurate. Well... welcome to vinyl perfection everyone old and new to the industry! My setup includes an Ortofon 2M Blue, along with an Ortofon headshell... Acrylic platter. Im also using a Pro-Ject phono box MM which is grounded, and my output is through a pair of Edifier R2000DBs. I only use quality cables...Ive just migrated from a Denon DP-300F. In my setup, the Fluance runs circles around the Denon in every category and its not even close. It makes any of my old turntables look like toys. The workmanship, precision build, weight, look, sound, performance, and price...are all amazing when compared to anything else. The ONLY better quality turntables for the curious listener might be when we are getting into the expensive Rega or McIntosh turntable ranges...and those cost thousands more! Im an experienced listener and tech savvy adult who has been around music, I also play music so I know quality from bullshit and I know turntables... and Fluance is one of the best brands Ive owned so far. This thing is so quiet and the acrylic is so perfect that I cant even tell its spinning unless I look closely. This actually exceeded my expectations because all other brands have some sort of issue or they are all known for something. I cant name 1 thing I dont like about my Fluance turntable... that says a lot in this day and age. BTW, the first LP I listened to on this turntable... Dark Side of the Moon. Money never sounded better. Soundstage, phasing, etc... all candy to my ears.

First, this is a beautiful turntable in both sound and looks. It took a bit to put it all together correctly, but the directions were easy to follow. My problem is that I believed I was getting an automatic turntable where the arm actually returned to the resting stand once the record was done playing. Instead, the turntable just stops at the end of the record and stays on the stopped record, I cant imagine this is good for the needle and the description of AutoStop is a bit misleading. It is better than having the record continuously spin at the end, but not as good as when the needle comes off the record and returns to its resting stand. Id return it, but to take it all apart, try and get everything back into the box would be a huge hassle so I guess Ill learn to live with it. Just beware is all Im saying if youre looking for that fully automatic return feature.

Love it! Not a beginner turntable though. Not much so that its advanced, but wouldnt recommend it for beginners. Other than that great turntable!

I waited a month for this to come in and it was worth every second of it. I had read reviews and researched a lot of other turntables and even returned (the pro-ject) one to get the Fluance. The sound is crisp and you wouldnt even know there is a motor in it if it was possible. I did purchase an acrylic platter and it was 100% worth the upgrade. Would 10/10 recommend this to anyone in the market for their first turntable or even if youre in the market for a new one. I almost went with another pro-ject turntable and Im happy I didnt. You certainly can not beat it for the price (I purchased mine at 299, Im not sure what its at now). The only thing I would have liked to see is the option to purchase a Grado cartridge but I can always do that in the future anyway. Still, the Ortofon OM10 cartridge is an all-around great cartridge and I can see why they would offer these with their product.

Great audio from my vinyls. Price is a bit high but worth it.

Ultimately went with this turntable after researching tons in this price range and slightly cheaper. I am happy that I chose this one and it sounds and looks great. I was thinking of getting the RT81, but after reading reviews and researching the styluses, I decided on the RT82 since I listen to a lot of jazz fusion music. I upgraded to the Fluance acrylic platter and have it paired with a Schiit Mani (piano black, black mani, and walnut Kanto YU6). When I wear out or get tired of the OM10, I can get the 2M blue and basically have a RT85 with a spare cart and stylus (or get OM20 for existing cart) and not have paid a crazy amount more. Definitely would get this model over others in the price range and would consider spending more over the RT80 and 81 if you plan on building a system around it or want to future proof against having to get a completely new turntable to upgrade.

For value for money this set is probably unbeatable. The quality of sound reproduction is absolutely amazing. Love listening to it everyday.
