This is our familys go to game for game nights. Its also my 4 year olds favorite game. Its fast paced, easy to learn, teaches strategy thinking, educational (addtion) and entertaining for all ages ranging from Id say 3.5 and older. Sometimes when its just a 2 person or 3 person game, we up the amount of cards we each have-- so instead of the usual 4 cards down for each person we could go up to as much as 6 cards depending on how many people are playing.

I’ve played this game since I was little, and I absolutely love it. It’s simple, fun, and the artwork is cute and memorable! Definitely recommend this game for a wide range of ages!

Really fun game for the family. My 8 year old girl loves it. I think it is probably best for 7+ age kids and adults.

Ive played this with 8 and 9 year olds. Quick pace, reasonably easy to learn and fun for the whole family.

Spent three hours today playing this game with our 6-year-old granddaughter and only stopped because it was bedtime. The basic concept for Rat-a-Tat-Cat - try to get the lowest possible score for your four cards - is easy to learn; and the combination of luck, which evens the odds, and skill in terms of strategy and memory makes it a fun and competitive game for children and adults. I was concerned at first when I saw granddaughter discarding valuable low-scoring cards, but she proved she knew what she was doing when she won the round and ultimately the first game. (It may have helped that her stuffed toy kitty was cheering her on!) Havent played yet with the 8- and 10-year-old but will update when we see how they like it.

We bought this to play with our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter, we all love it. She was able to grasp the concept quickly and she loves it so much we are wearing out the cards! The cards are good quality but any cards will wear out given enough play. We will be buying a second set so she can have one at home.

This is a great game, we play it often. Great for working your memory on what to keep and what to get rid of.
