> 3 daySetup was a breeze, create a Geeni account, add the device to it. I also connected to alexa. I was looking for something to shut off my monitors and computers overnight to save energy as the rates here are skyrocketing. Problem is, I would be sitting at my desk, sometimes on a zoom meeting and the smart plug would decide to power off and then on. Not good as it takes a minute or 2 for everything to come back up again. Double checked there were no schedules run to cause this. Checked for new firmware. This happened at different times too of the day too. After the 4th time it happened while I was presenting remotely, I returned it.

> 3 dayUsed for my Christmas village instead of having to switch all the houses on, I can now ask Alexa to turn on The village and they all on. It’s also linked to my phone on app so super easy to control especially for those hard to reach outlets behind cabinets. Love this purchase

> 3 dayI have a Mixer, Computer Monitor, Active Speakers, Chromecast, HDMI Audio Splitter and Desk Lamp all plugged into and individually controllable through this ONE surge protector. Each outlet being a smart plug makes the utility of this surge protector multiply tenfold especially if you have an entertainment center and are looking to, for example, power on your mixer before powering on your speakers so there isnt a POP over the speakers. I have connected this to both Amazons Echo and Google Assistant and it works like a charm. Easy to reset as well if ever the smart assistants lose connection.

> 3 daySo I finally get the wifi connected after having to reconfigure my router because their app cant find my 2.4Ghz. Now the timer doesnt work for the outlet. Seems pretty self explanatory, really dont have a choice as there are no instructions. I have two outlets set to turn on an off at certain times, but they dont turn off. Their website doesnt even show this model, so no help there. Im stuck trying to track down support and hope I can understand through the accent. Just might end up sending it back if this isnt resolved tomorrow. Almost 30 years in IT support. Its not me.

> 3 dayThe device connected to the network after several attempts. I set up rules to leave one port on all of the time, 3 ports are on an on/off schedule every 12 hours, so each of those ports has two rules, one for the time to turn on and one for the time to turn off. The last two ports are off all of the time. Right away, one port on the 12 hour schedule misbehaved. I reset everything and set up the rules again. All was mostly good until we tried to use the last two ports. I added the same rules, but the ports would not shut off. I’ve tried resetting and opened a problem with he manufacturer. I have had no response from them. Had to abandon use of the last two ports. Our others continued to work properly and after two months, including the time change and network updates, of working properly, they have suddenly begun ignoring their rules. Would not recommend.

> 3 dayThis product works well and is relatively inexpensive so I cant knock it completely. However, I would like a web interface to be able to enable ports in an automated fashion. Example: power up a light plugged into a port in response to some event detected by a third-party device/system. Like a motion detector or a door opening.

> 3 dayThis item works well—when it works. After weeks of back and forth with tech support it was decided that a replacement item would be sent. That was over a month ago. Ive sent over a dozen emails asking a status on the replacement and they do not respond. Avoid this company!

> 3 dayI got this for my desk lamp and powered speakers (Kanto YU2.) Since WFH began, reaching under the desk everyday for the lamp switch and fiddling with my speakers volume became a real pain. With this outlet and the free SmartLife app (I can confirm it works!) I schedule everything on my desk to turn on before I start working and turn itself off in the evening. The 2 USB charging ports are very useful as well. One issue I encountered was, when I initially placed it right by my wifi router, It had a really hard time syncing in the app and staying on my wifi network. It was frustrating and I almost gave up, but moving them apart from each other fixed it and the experience has been seamless for months now.
