Judging by how filthy they are when I change them, these filters are really pulling in dust and particles in from the air. And they last a long time too.

I bought two of these air purifiers for a couple of reasons, but mainly to drown out the sounds of the garbage bins being emptied in the middle of the night, twice a week. The purifiers are not loud, but loud enough to muffle all that racket that wakes up everybody in the house. My husband and I both have allergies, and he has asthma, and we took in three dogs needing a home, so we need all the purifying of air we can get! I would show you a picture of all the junk these filters collect in a single week, but you get the idea. They are fantastic, and they last. I pop the back off and go over them every week or two with a vac brush.

I purchased the GermGuardian and replacement filters bc my daughter bought it for her house. I have not replaced the filters as of this date. However, the filter appears to be easy to install.

I’ve been using these filters for about two years now. They work very well (see pictures). They capture room dust, loose carpet pile, small particulates, etc. So much material it becomes caked onto the filter over time. Ever since I began using, I’ve noticed that I don’t have as many breathing issues or asthma attacks. I keep my filter unit in my study room as this is an ideal location. I have it running continuously even when I’m not in the room. I would advise anyone that has breathing problems to use a unit that can accommodate these filters.

I purchased these for my home because my father was coming to visit and I also suffer from bad allergies and sinus infections. These definitely helped keep dirt and animal hair at bay. Last about 6 months before needing to be replaced.
