> 24 hourWorks great. Really gets the rugs clean. If you have a large area this may be a bit small. I foster dogs and they have hair everywhere. This definitely gets what the vacuum misses.

> 24 hourI bought this Hoover PowerDash Pet machine and was impressed. Firstly, I thought that my delivery would have taken a week, I got it within two days. Thanks Amazon. It is simple to assemble. It comes with a 6 ounce bottle of Hoover deep clean neutralizer. The key to using this is SLOW movement. It cleaned and sucked up the dirt. My rug was not dripping wet. I just finished cleaning about 15 minutes ago and it is nearly dry. The proof of all the dirt was in the dirty water container. I have a Bissell Little Green Clean Machine. It does well for spot treating, but at one point I was using it to clean the whole rug. Let’s just say my back wasn’t to happy about that. The first picture shows how dirty the carpet is. I have a dog and a cat. The second picture shows how clean it became. After I was finished cleaning, I took off the removable nozzle and rinsed it clean. I flipped up the machine, unscrewed the bottom and cleaned the brush head and surrounding area. There was soo much fur, but it was a breeze to clean. For the price, I paid $112 in total. I heard a lot of things about Hoover and wanted to try it out. I’m very happy with my purchase.

> 24 hourOkay so like everyone else I have a dog and dogs have dirty feet. Im currently in a rental with wall to wall carpet. Did I tell you how much I hate wall to wall carpet? So there are definitely spots that need cleaning more frequently than the rest. I have a little green machine from Bissell for accidents but who wants to clean up a walkway or the place where your dog lays all the time with that little thing. Im getting too old to jerk around with those huge rental carpet cleaners and the previous household ones that Ive looked at are also fairly heavy and I dont have space to store them. One day I was wandering through the appliance section in the store and I saw this and was immediately intrigued so I went on Amazon and I read all the reviews. I purchased it and its perfect for what I need. The only reason I didnt give it five stars is because of the plate on the bottom to take the brush out so you can clean all the dog hair out of there. Six screws, come on Hoover you can figure out something better than that. And the screws dont really fit any of my screwdrivers well and Im afraid Im going to strip out the heads of them. The water tanks are small and have to be replenished or dumped out often but its worth it to me for this small machine thats easy to store its light and easy for me to use and I can do those areas of my carpet easily that make me cringe when I have people over without having to rent a big machine.

> 24 hourI bought this carpet cleaner because I was looking for something that was easier to maneuver than my full-sized carpet shampooer. I love how lightweight it is. The water reservoirs are smaller, so you need to fill/dump more often, but I expected this as a trade off. The PowerDash cleaned very effectively. Im very happy with the results. I have to go over the area cleaned 3 times to extract all the water, but I have to do the same thing with my big shampooer. I read some complaints about this in reviews, but I really dont see how an carpet cleaner would extract the shampoo an more effectively without damaging the carpet. This is a compact carpet cleaner and it doesnt clean as wide a path as a full-size machine. But, if you prioritize having a lightweight solution over getting the job done faster, the Hoover PowerDash Pet Advanced Compact Carpet Cleaner will probably work well for you.

> 24 hourI dont have a long history with wet vacs for comparison. And I had hoped to find a handheld cat barf cleaner, which is a common occurrence around my house of three cats, 2 are seniors. Plus I have a toddler, need I say more? But after reading many reviews, I opted for this unit instead of a handheld. I put off putting it together for a week thinking it would be a pain in the butt to assemble, despite reviews saying that it was easy. That was a mistake in and of itself, as it is *extraordinarily* easy to put together and can be done and ready to use in 5 minutes or less. No tools required, no points of frustration. Because I put off putting it together, I had a couple of spots of cat barf sitting on my brand new carpet. I had spot treated them, but now the carpet was crispy where I had cleaned them manually. My eldest cat threw up again and I thought enough is enough, I need to put this thing together. I retreated the old spots and got them wet again with some vinegar and water. I cleaned up the old and new spots and confirmed with a black light flashlight that they were 100% clean. Let me repeat that, 100% clean! And the old spots were soft again once the carpet dried. This thing is saving my new carpet. Im about to sell my house so its critical that I have perfect carpet, as I spent good money to get good thick carpet and padding (before I knew I was selling). Could you clean your whole room? Oh yeah, definitely. You might have to refill the tank, but they built it in such a way its so easy to refill, AND8 clean, It would be no trouble at all to clean an entire room. It has separate clean and dirty water tanks. And you need very little concentrated cleaning fluid for the soap to water ratio. So even the sample that comes with it is enough to last a while, even though I went ahead and purchased a large container from the get-go. It will probably last me a lifetime. I almost wish my cats would pee on the carpet so I can test that, but lets not get crazy here. I do believe that this unit would clean up cat urine completely though. Its so thorough! You cant get your carpet clean without good suction, and this sucker has GREAT suction. The carpet is almost dry when the job is complete. And the carpet is completely dry within an hour, leaving it soft and like new again. I cant speak to it cleaning stairs, as I dont have any stairs in my home. I can imagine it might be a bit of a pain. But I think that stairs are going to be a pain no matter what unit you use. Theres no handheld attached, If thats something youre looking for. But it was excellent at cleaning right against the wall too. I was thinking about paying the super big bucks to get wood floors throughout my new home thats being built, for the sole reason that my senior cats throw up. Having this unit buys me peace of mind that I can get carpet in my bedrooms, which I prefer. This little lightweight unit will save me at least $10k, by opting for carpet in my bedrooms instead of wood, and having the peace of mind that I can clean any mess. Can you tell I love this unit yet? You will too. I havent had it long enough to speak to longevity. But it seems like a solid unit. I personally think the price point is appropriate too.

> 24 hourI’ve had this product for over a year now, and let me tell you.. I ABUSED it (not literally) I mean I was using it everyday, as I have 2 dogs who I was still training on pottying. Of course, every now and then I’d deep clean it by taking apart the bottom, really cleaning the bristles, but man I’m really happy with how it’s still going. I’ve used it alot; I never tried it on bright “hard to get out” stain types although I think it would work maybe? it doesn’t work too well with old stains, so I advise using it as soon as you can after a mess! *had to refill liquid for every 20-25 sq ft area, best for small area clean ups* UPDATE 3/28/23: • so I bought a new one since the last one stopped working (smoke/smell everytime I turned it on) and this new one just broke the same way.. it’s only been maybe a few months, maybe 2 months. So I’m pretty upset I gotta buy yet another? After taking it apart, I found the motor was rusted. Apparently this is common in these cleaners because of water splashing back as you clean. So question is, how do I stop water from getting in? I dry my cleaner after each use, it sits on a dry towel surface each time. So I’m assuming it’s getting in while I use it. There’s a covering on the bottom that’s suppose to prevent that but it seems like it’s failing at doing so.

> 24 hourFirst of all! Waw! Worth the money, did an excellent job on our rugs and carpets. It was easy to assemble and use and not very loud compared to other cleaners. Highly recommend!
