> 3 dayThe handle for the upholstery cleaner was hard to attach. You had to force it on to make the fluid flow through the hose to the brush trigger. Once we got it to work, it worked well, but I fear that it may break in the near future seeing how much force I had to use to connect the hose...I wish there was a larger compartment for the cleaning fluid and the catchment container...

Greater than one weekOverall it’s a great product. The only thing bothering me is the fact that I have to fill in the water and clean the filter every 2 or 3 minutes. I Would have liked it to go a bit longer. Beside that small drawback, it’s definitely worth every single penny. It works great, super easy to maneuver, and cleans deep dirt. This is 5 years of dirt that I just cleaned. I’m so happy and feel so good to have a clean carpet. I ran out of cleaning solution and had to stop the cleaning session, but the result is great so far.

> 3 dayDefinitely Happy with this. Definitely made a difference and works I will buy the bigger version too just because I know this is good. Easy to clean. Comes with a mini shampoo but I got the big bottle too and definitely get the big bottle with it I have carpets in every room but kitchen and bathroom and I did all of them but did need the big bottle.

> 3 dayFirst off, I LOVE this machine. I did about 500sq ft the first day it was delivered. While I love his pristine and clean it got my carpets, it does have a few quirks. This is the ideal carpet cleaning machine for apartment-dwellers with pets and carpets. Even if you use a “spot eliminator” device like I do, you know eventually you need to clean larger areas of carpet a spot device just can’t handle — or you want to clean the entire carpet in your space. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to assemble the machine once you get the parts out of the box. One caveat: the cap on the solution/water bottle. Push the inside of the cap out BEFORE you position the bottle (upside-down) in the machine — otherwise it will leak. I learned this after doing the wrong thing on the first fill. This quirk should be addressed on the quick set-up card for impulsive people such as myself. The second thing I immediately noticed was how loud this machine is. It’s louder than most vacuums. I would definitely recommend not using it in the morning or evening — unless you want your neighbors to hate you. Another quirk. The price point means certain “luxury” features are gone. If you hear the noise change, that is telling you either the cleaner/water bottle is empty — or the dirty water tank is full. Fill up the cleaner and dump the dirty tank at the same time. There is no light or other mechanism other than the way the machine sounds to tell you this. Last quirk: the dirty water tank. You press the button from behind the machine and slide it out. The first time I put the handle down and was confused since no other machine I had worked this way. My advice: just take a few minutes to read the instructions. Overall, i’m in love with this machine. If you are on a budget and can forgo luxury features, this machine will be for you. If you like tons of features, you might be disappointed by this particular machine. I love that it’s small and easy to store; if you need to clean more than three large rooms, consider a machine with a wider path. Each room took me about three fills and three times emptying the dirty water tank. If you want a larger capacity machine, look for one with larger tanks and a larger cleaning path. But if you don’t mind a little extra work, this machine is a solid 4.5 stars for me (too bad I can only give 4 on Amazon’s rating — 5 Stars would be too much considering the loudness and quirks).

> 3 dayThis little machine is awesome on pet stains, as it cleans carpets thoroughly. It’s a small machine. Ideally for area rugs or other small areas. Takes about three hours and five refills/empties to clean the entirety of a bout 600sqft. Breaks down compactly (handle removable) to fit into small spaces. All in all, I’ve been super impressed with this machine, it’s been a lifesaver in my apartment with my elderly dog that sometimes has accidents.

> 3 dayHonestly, this thing is fantastic. For reference, I have two huskies, four cats and a fiancé. They all have simultaneous dirty feet at least a couple of times a week from spending time outside. My crazy nalgas fell in love with this white rug and just had to have it against my better judgment. Sure enough, the dinge was taking over my pristine rug while I cried tears of sourness as my sanity slipped away. Hand-scrubbing did help but it did nothing to restore my once snow-white rug. So, I caught this machine on sale and figured what-the-hey Ill try this out and if I hate it, back it will go. The photo I took was after one pass. Suffice it to say, I was ecstatic. If you are loca like me and have light-colored rugs/carpets with grime gremlins lurking in your home.. buy this machine, seriously. Its amazeballz. Oh and in case you were wondering, I was using OxyClean Large Area carpet cleaner in the machine.

> 3 dayI bought this carpet cleaner because I was looking for something that was easier to maneuver than my full-sized carpet shampooer. I love how lightweight it is. The water reservoirs are smaller, so you need to fill/dump more often, but I expected this as a trade off. The PowerDash cleaned very effectively. Im very happy with the results. I have to go over the area cleaned 3 times to extract all the water, but I have to do the same thing with my big shampooer. I read some complaints about this in reviews, but I really dont see how an carpet cleaner would extract the shampoo an more effectively without damaging the carpet. This is a compact carpet cleaner and it doesnt clean as wide a path as a full-size machine. But, if you prioritize having a lightweight solution over getting the job done faster, the Hoover PowerDash Pet Advanced Compact Carpet Cleaner will probably work well for you.
