> 3 dayI have spent a bit of time with this laptop and it functions well. It is quick and I have found no problems. The reason for the four star rating is that like all other computers in this price range, the hinged area is weak and will likely eventually become loose.

Greater than one weekI needed a laptop for different projects and found this one to be perfect for my needs. I’ve been using iPads for years but needed a computer and found this to be very easy to use.

> 3 dayhas no extra unneeded bells and whistles so it was really affordable especially for the hier tier processor thats in it. i have no problems running the software i need on it. had it for a little over a year now and still using it. the battery life is abyssmal like only 4 hours long, however anytime i use it i can plug it in so that doesnt bother me per say. for the price i paid for it thats absolutely acceptable.

Greater than one weekI bought this for my dad to use for simple things. Since the start the WiFi adapter was very finicky. It would drop the signal and refuse to reconnect. Didnt feel I should have to deal with such lame performance for a brand new laptop. So back to Amazon it went. Will look at a Lenovo instead.

> 3 dayUnfortunately, like another reviewer my laptop also has a wifi adapter problem. I spent 1/2 a day with HP trying to troubleshoot and eventually had to wipe the computer and restore to manufacturer settings. That worked for about 8 hours and again the adapter was disabled or corrupted. I was able to find a USB to Ethernet converter so I can connect to the internet - but that then interferes with the reaction time of my wireless mouse and keyboard....plus connecting to the ethernet with a really long chord when working from home is very inconvenient when, you know, I bought a laptop for its portability.

> 3 dayThis unit will not run monitors off of the USB-C port which annoys me greatly since it only does data but it works quite well otherwise. The problem started a few days after I started using it. When I would move the mouse to do what you do with a mouse the screen would starting jumping and acting like it lost sync and at times the screen would go blank. A chat with HP support that ran over several days ended with them asking me to send the unit in for repair and that is where it sits. I did hear they received it several days ago but nothing so far on the return or repair. No calls about not being able to duplicate my issue, nothing. Im starting to wish I had returned it to Amazon and bought a better model.
