> 24 hourOne week after retrieving my first 2-pack, one stopped working (would no longer connect to network and couldnt reinstall). Received a replacement. Three months later the same exact behavior. Not reliable at all.

> 24 hourI had the older model for years that still work with the app but not with Alexa. These new ones work seamlessly with Alexa and are easy to set up.

> 24 hourI get a little tired of using different apps for different smart devices, so the ones that integrate with Alexa are SO much better! The Geeni app is ok, it works great, but I dislike having half a dozen apps for different brands, so try to just control all devices through Alexa and this works great that way. Easy setup and management.

> 24 hourThese plugs are great. The Geeni app is very simple to setup, and within seconds of plugging the new smart plugs in, the app found them and they connected without issue. BN-Link makes similar Smart Plugs, but they do not have Energy Monitoring, which is ridiculous. Its nice to be able to turn the switches off/on with your phone, but seeing how much power the device plugged into the smart plug is drawing, in real time, and over a period of a year is a crucial feature that many competitors are lacking as of late. The blame is the chip shortage (of course it is, funny how others like this product dont have that issue and include Energy Monitoring, I think its a way to make a cheaper product for the same price). Make sure you allow Bluetooth with the app so it can easily find the new plugs. Also, you can use the Device Widget to turn the switches on/off on iOS, which is awesome. You can also add a picture icon for the plugs. BN-Link also removed this feature. This is nice because you can take a picture of whatever the plug is powering and use it as your icon. Small, but nice feature. There are few reviews because this product was released 4 months ago, so its new. So far, I highly recommend, and the price is very reasonable. The picture I included is the Device Widget showing the icons.

> 24 hourthese plugs were so easy to set up and connect to the wifi. Soon as I plugged in the devices it was detected by my home app. The shape is a bit odd as it is elongated so it is offset from the electrical outlet. Other than that they work perfectly and have no issues.

> 24 hourPro:- 1. Simple to configure and connect. Cons:- 1. Item disconnects randomly from Wifi. 2. Monitoring is a joke, as it just quotes same bandwidth for a PC or TV or hair dryer. 3. Cloud is horrible. Mostly Google cloud cannot detect it and have to use the genie app to control.(Plugging it off and on fixes the issue for a day or 2) 4. Went googling to fix the above issues and noted iHome is notorious for discarding the cloud making this socket a paper weight. You cannot control it with app or google if iHome cloud is shutdown. They had did this for pervious gen. They might do this for this gen so people can buy more of their stuff instead of using the working one. Item returned as it was not working properly
