> 3 dayAs others have mentioned, this isnt compatible with Apple HomeKit, though its earlier version were. I have three of the older iHome SPX6, works flawlessly with HomeKit. Returning this. I shouldve read the product description better. Any reason why the product creators dropped HomeKit support?

> 3 dayThis is one of the easiest smart plugs weve ever used. You just install the Geeni app if you havent already and then add a new device, it took maybe 10 or 15 seconds to recognize the plug, and then I assigned to the name and set up the schedule and I was done. Its very responsive and works flawlessly. Were using it for our Christmas tree and Christmas lights outside. Its so nice to be able to have the timer set for those. Love it!

> 3 dayIt was a little difficult at first getting it to connect. It literally took me several tries (at least 10) and I was a little frustrated. Then I moved it to another socket and the same distance from the router and it connected in minutes. There is an app that must be downloaded and the QR code in on the instruction leaflet. Once connected, it was easy peasy to use. I was able to turn my den lights off and on using my phone. It is a pack of 2 so I used the other plug at my moms house so she does not have to walk into a dark house when she returns home at times. She can turn in the lights from the car. I like the plug so much that I will buying another set for me gadgets around the house. It’s so convenient and I find it to be a safety “must have”.

> 3 dayAs of April 2, 2022, these are unusable... Basically trash unless you use Apple HomeKit. When they did work with Google Home, I had to constantly reconnect them to wifi. Now you cannot use them at all… “Any integration with third party services such as Google Assistant, SmartThings, Amazon Alexa, Wink or IFTTT will no longer work. Please transition to using HomeKit wherever possible.” I highly recommend Kasa Smart Plugs instead. I’ve never had an issue with them.
